Not at all, since when has there even been a car with this type of interior. I'm just glad its not a massive tablet screen with some floating steering wheel crap. And I really like it, its pretty easy to recognise but looks miles better Ford has been making some impressive designs lately.
Ford just won the auto show imo with this and the GT350R. The design was a bit hard to swallow for me at first as the front has little resemblance to their other vehicles but the more I look at it the more it grows on me.
It's nice to see that they've chosen to go with a twin turbo V6 engine, which proves the fact that Ford isn't a company owned by a 300kg redneck who always puts a overpowered V8 on a car that almost can't handle it... Just like Chevy did with the new Corvette and Dodge with the Hellcat Charger/Challenger
Holy shit....I had to wrap paper towels around my ankles. Love it and the prospect of this being involved with LeMans is causing me to look for more paper towels. Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic.
OH MY GOD I LOVE IT IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL Wait, what? It's got a V6 and an automatic gearbox? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK I HATE IT But I do love how they kept the original lines, but still made it look modern.
I hope to god a V8-10-12 finds it's way into this. You could set up a lawn chair and have a beer in those side scoops. This thing is fucking sick.
I really hope they will make some version with a V8. I was kinda disappointed when I read that it had an Ecoboost Twin Turbo V6. It kinda has a Lamborghini Huracán glass window look. Also I read an article that said this was a 2017 Ford GT.
well, considering ford themselves said it's a 2016 ford GT, i'm going to say that it's a 2016 ford gt, not 2017
Why be disappointed? It's already more powerful than the original GT, and its engine has to be within a certain displacement to fit into a certain racing group, so the road car was made to the same spec. Fitting a V8 at this point can only make it worse. They'd likely get the same or worse power from it and have it carrying extra weight. There's no reason to go with a V8 over the current V6 at all.
