First I got me a cheap dirt racer out of the Deluxe Roadster, then I paid homage to a legend of Polish rallying by modifying the Nine as a homage to his '37 Chevrolet.

it really does need an ambulance livery for the van type. it could make for a cool old-style era for beamng.

    Great addition!!!!!

One constructive criticism: The Lake Bed racer is a vintage hotrod, and they would not have used the "corse" steering wheel in the 1950s--that looks much more like a late 1960s choice, and at that point people weren't building hot rods like this anymore--that was the Barris-era. It would be the banjo "Lux" wheel, which was a popular hot rodders choice back then. The same issue is present in the lowrider Burnside, which is supposed to be a vintage hot rod but they use a modern steering wheel. Ruins the immersion a bit.

Good catch there, indeed from searching period correct pics, it seems that for those kind of high speed builds they used factory steering wheels.

    A fantastic car!
Now, I personally have the impression that the synchronizers of first gear seem more prone to damage through quick or unprecise shifting and clutching. Is that actually true? After all, cars of the era often had unsynchronised transmissions (which would be an interesting addition to the game).

The glass covers for the gauge cluster don't hide when you make the body invisible, at least on the taxi version.
Can someone explain why it only has 2 pedals and the clutch seems to also be throttle?

Turning the key and hitting the starter button both do the same thing. Shouldn't turning the key just put on the ignition, and then the starter button has to be pushed separately to start?

Also same thing with headlamps. The floor button should just be for low/high beam yet it also turns on the light.

I'm happy there's no internal hood release! Burnside needs to be changed to also only have an external release, as was the standard for its day.

Will check on the glass covers. When you remove the body the throttle pedal is mounted to the floor so it goes with it, that's why it disappears.
Clutch is not the throttle, you probably have it on auto so it looks like it is.

Well made model! I like to control it on my steering wheel, real hardcore) but I would like to hear some clarification on the missing door handles in some configurations, I have come across photos of hotrods without handles, they also had no side windows, is this related? How does a car without handles open from the outside if it has windows and they are closed)?

Stunning The only thing is we do need a rusty skin, That is the only down side, Feels like we could use a rusted out skin, however i have not dived deep into the other paints yet, but yeah,
