    For sure.

They also removed the ability to reset tuning values!

Putting Alder Vulcan 15x4 wheels on the front of the Bruckell Nine (with radius arm suspension, if that matters, have not tested independent suspension or rear wheels) causes a fatal lua error that makes the car fly upward endlessly even if physics is frozen, I don't know if the other size Vulcans work

Is there any plans to make the anti-aliasing better? right now (on a 1080p screen at least, don't know if this info matters or not but I've seen people say its worse on 1080p) a lot of stuff is really pixelated and jagged on cars and the maps, it doesn't come across much on picture but in-game it is very annoying, This is on mostly ultra settings (think mesh quality is set to high as ultra eats fps for not much of a difference), max motion blur and vertical sync set to 144hz if that info also matters.

You can find much better pictures of bad anti-aliasing on the forums/Reddit/wherever but these are ones I managed to take.

I believe the new UI feels less clear partly because it uses a fixed size for all part dropdowns, like this:
    upload_2024-12-11_22-2-41.png

The old UI uses one half of the available space for the name and the other for the dropdown (for orientation, at least).
This makes the part tree a lot clearer when only looking at the selected part and not the names or just at a quick glance.
    upload_2024-12-11_22-5-19.png

The bar that is below every extendable part is also an indicator that is lot clearer than the bold font the new Vue implementation uses.
I am also missing a clear hovering indicator whenever a part can be extended. The old UI changes the text color, but the new UI does nothing of that sort.
    upload_2024-12-11_22-6-43.png

I do really like the new colour scheme - the high contrast dark is nice and reminds me of optional, multiple darkness levels some apps provide.
Perhaps, now that Vue is in the main focus of the team, a global theme system could be implemented? Many people won't necessarily like such a dark UI.
Although, like a few others have also mentioned, the transparency behind the menu is too low for this background brightness. And since the apps behind the menu are not blurred, reading the text can get a bit annoying.
    upload_2024-12-11_22-21-27.png

I would prefer this, with only the parts tree itself having transparency. Transparency effects can help contrast by increasing the dynamic feeling of an app on certain elements and in areas (color difference aside).
The tabs and search bar at the top as well as the bottom options are already separated from the tree by the borders, however these parts do not move or transform.
    upload_2024-12-11_22-19-47.png
Reduced transparency wouldn't be required at all if the apps behind the menu were blurred, but the current CEF version does not support the backdrop-filter tag and an implementation probably would not be very simple.

The background color should also be applied to the navbar below, but I do understand that these mismatches are to be expected currently.
Should the bottom bar, which is also a Vue implementation now, keep its current style the options background should be changed to reflect this.

Well the layout is worse and harder to read. I don't see why the layout needs changing anyway. Surely the existing one could be improved rather than replaced.

Since the very start of 0.34, any Automation export I try to spawn in any way crashes the game. I'm also frequently getting lag spikes of 10 seconds where it drops to 5-10 FPS all of a sudden and makes the game nearly unresponsive (I have to pause until the spike goes away on its own).

Everything was completely fine until yesterday. No mods broken in any game-breaking way, no weird combination of parts/actions/whatever, no device issues, no explanation. The bugs and crashes effectively started happening overnight and I can't fix them no matter what I do.

And what's weird is, only the Automation builds are crashing the game, every other mod spawns fine and works fine.

The Disk Brake Rotor on the Torque Tube rear suspension of the Bruckle Nine is off-center. This applies to the standard disk brake and the Race Disk Brake.

    Career Mode Bug

It seems that when you leave the vehicle, as a result of starting a delivery or leaving for any reason other than pressing F to walk around, brakes automatically apply to 100% (shown with telemetry UI app)
I have repeated it 3 times, 2 other times in safe mode - have not installed any mods since the update, and this has only happened since the update. It did not happen previously.
    The brakes will not disengage by;
    - Switching gearbox modes
    - Pressing F to exit vehicle and entering it again
    - Accelerating, or pressing the brakes

Brakes will only disengage if the game is restarted and the problem will occur the next time the vehicle is exited for any reason other than pressing F.
This problem occurred on a fresh save with 0 progress, as well as on the starter Covet.

I first came across this bug by starting a 'Car Jockey' mission, which did not start on the first attempt. I noticed that the vehicle (starter Covet) would not move after leaving the delivery menu in the parking spot at the Belasco garage location and the brake lights were stuck on no matter what I tried. I restarted the game, chose the same mission and it worked fine. After delivering the car (240BX) to Jefferson Motors, I pressed R and took a taxi to the Commercial Garage where the Covet got stuck again, due to brakes being applied. I restarted the game (without saving, so I had to taxi back to the Belasco Garage) and again, the Covet was stuck. Brake lights were on in all cases, I checked the telemetry this time and saw brakes at 100%.

This does not seem to happen in free roam, scenarios, rally, or time trials so I'm fairly confident there's a bug given how easy it seems to be replicated, and the issue goes away with a restart only to come back under normal gameplay circumstances.

Other than this odd issue, I've been enjoying the update so far!

I really noticed that the game had a memory leak, because before when I opened the game for the first time and started loading maps one after the other, I got a warning about high memory usage (even though I had 20GB) Now in this update after this fix the RAM memory usage does not increase with each new map loading.

I could also open two drop down lists on top of eachother instead of them closing eachother out.

Loving the update so far, not sure if anyone has addressed this yet, but to be honest, not a fan of the new gear ratio selection in the tuning menu, old or new UI variant. While I am not a fan of the reduced range of customization as I have used it in my crawlers and others, the larger problem I see with it is that it is hard to visually gauge the distance between gears with the new sliders not all having the same scale/range.

For instance, in the new UI, it is difficult to intuitively gauge the relative ratio in the stock form of the race transmission on the Bruckell Nine by looking at the sliders:
    upload_2024-12-11_17-56-15.png

In the old UI, The relative distance between gears can more easily be seen and tuning is a little more intuitive (pardon the weird screenshot):
    upload_2024-12-11_17-54-7.png
(Also, highlights the ability to create 'dead' gears with the old system)

However I do not mean to bash the update, I really appreciate the ghost of the previous setting in sliders and the overall feel of the UI, just needs a little more tuning IMO, not to mention the content of the rest of the update being excellent, the Nine is a great leno-esque representation of a 30s classic.

Well if there's a update for the 9 id say chopped bodies for the vans and sedan would be nice, giving the flathead V8 stage 3 options including side exhaust and making it available on both frames. More mid to late 30's bodies would be nice but that's probably just fantasy on my part.

This might not be an issue with 0.34 but a few roads on jungle rock island are just too narrow for two-way traffic. Might be a good idea to make them wider or just make them one way. upload_2024-12-11_18-33-54.png upload_2024-12-11_18-34-38.png

Yeah i'm not switching to the new Ui until they standardize it. I've become way too used to the old one. the new one is harder to use imo

I have no issue using new UI to choose parts, but there are some issues with the new UI.

    Tooltips are gone

When in vehicle tuning menu, power split with old rally Pessima used to have a tooltip which explained that slider adjusts amount of torque to rear wheels, but with new UI there is no tooltip and it can be difficult for new player to know if the slider adjusts power towards rear or towards front.

Similarly all the other tooltips seem to be missing with the new UI.

There are a few issues when it comes to search keywords. Most of them show up but some don't, especially searches for stuff inside the dropdown list, like when looking for late or early parts in the d-series, it works in the old ui but not the new ui
