Improved support for large maps in several subsystems

    Hello there,

    Sorry if this is the wrong place for writing this, but I noticed that the 0.34 release notes state that there was "improved support for large maps in several subsystems". What does that mean to be more precise? Does it mean that the camera doesn't shake as much the further from the centre you go? Does it mean I can import heightmaps larger than 4096x4096?

    Anyone with experience please let me know on this. I would really appreciate it.

    I was wondering the same, I know for sure 8k heightmaps work but was hoping for 16k.

    Thanks for the news. I'll definitely try both 8k and 16k when I have the time.
    It seems you've tried 16k yourself and it didn't work, right? Hopefully we get to see an official 8k map from the devs one day.

    Yeah I was hoping for 16k support so I could lower the square size on my 65km map.
