"P.I.T.A." - Acronym for "Pain In The Ass" - used to describe something that is annoying and/or difficult.
In simple terms the T-series was designed from the start to easily adapt to different frames. This was not.
The mod is now up on Repo here: https://www.beamng.com/resources/bruckell-nine-f-farm-tractor.32978/ Also on repo is the latest update 0.5 featuring - Dually Rear wheels - Rear Adjustable ballast weight - Improved fuel tank model --- Post updated --- As for gauges maybe a tach eventually. The thing is gauges are a tricky thing to add properly and this age of tractor only came with at most 2 gauges( Ammeter and oil pressure)
Lovely mod! Great work! I only have one question as someone that drove a few tractors. Where do the driver's legs go? Also the driver would be covered in all the mud. Adding some rudimentary floor board would make this mod much more real looking. As is the thing is unsafe looking.
Thanks a lot! I'll definitely add those in for the next update. --- Post updated --- I figured you'd just rest them on the frame rail just ahead of the pedals. Plenty of the Ford-Ferguson tractors didn't have floor boards instead opting for some front foot pegs.
The frame is at an angle. Ford-Ferguson tractors had perpendicular pipes you could rest your legs on. I like to offer a suggestion. Those rubber bits Nine has for getting in the "mother-in-law" seat. Put one on either side of the frame. Then again it is a minor issue. If I'm the only person talking about it, ignore me.
Maybe. I'd have to see how well I could get a wider tire modelled. Though Jbeam shouldn't be an issue with that given it already has duals.
As for a cabin. I probably won't add a fully enclosed one though I am going to add some kind of roll bar to it and maybe a canopy as well. As for a Ferguson-style 3-point hitch system it is definitely something I want to add and I've already begun trying to implement. Though it is a complicated system so It'll be awhile before it's released.
Update 0.6 - Added headlights and horn(right light slot) as an option - Stiffened front bumper and added front ballast option - Added Heavy Duty Radiator(More cooling, but also more weight) - Improved model shading(Thanks to RyanCookie) - Added foot rest pegs
