mercedes c 111 from 1970. only 3 were produced (1 wankel and other 2 were diesels). note that that the last one reached the top speed of back then astronomic high 403 km/h. IN 1970!!! also yea today's SLS AMG is similar due to gullwing doors but not in diesel version and pop-up lights. anyone likes it?
I actually saw one of those in a MB showroom in Paris. I had no idea there were only three of them, wow. Edit: I checked my pictures, the headlights are different. It was a replica. :| Also, OT: (imported from here)
It looks like someone welded the rear end of a Volvo and the front end of a GTR. Doesn't match at all. A GTR shooting brake would be really awesome though. Actually, all shooting brakes are awesome.
It's actually a Nissan Stagea, what a lot of people don't know is that the Skyline was a economy sedan and wagon(What they nowadays call the stagea) and the GT-R is it's sport version... It's a shame they didn't do the same with the r-35 - - - Updated - - - Now just wait for Bakasan to see this and give us a lecture!
All Skylines have been available in a wagon bodystyle between S50 and R31 chassis (1963-1989). For the R32, the Skyline wagon was discontinued (but sedans were still available). The Stagea was introduced in 1996, based on the Laurel and using parts from the Skyline (both cars are somewhat similar anyway). I guess you could consider the Stagea to be a successor to the Skyline wagon.
Volvo 240/740 utes It is quite common to do this in Sweden and limit the top speed to 30 km/h, because then you can register the vehicle as a tractor which means you can drive it when you are 15. Of course they do go a lot faster than 30...
