Low FPS Due To FFB Wheel?

i'm having an FPS issue that seems to be related to force feedback in some way. I can usually run a single-car freeroam at high FPS but I was seeing like 5 fps. my FPS shot up when I paused the physics simulation and was sometimes good when parked, but shot back down to 5 when driving. I also got full FPS when driving as long as the game wasn't the active window (FFB is disabled in that case).

I am able to fix it and continue to play at high FPS (with FFB) by going into the controls menu and removing my device from the FFB configuration page and then re-adding it and re-ticking the "FFB" input box.

I use a Simagic Alpha Mini if that helps, but the Simpro software isn't running and I restarted my PC and saw the same results.

J'ai le même problème avec ma base Simagic Alpha U.
Dès que j'active le FFB je passe de 140 fps à 15 fps.
Je n'ai pas trouvé la solution.
il semble que le ffb fonctionne sur la carte la plus simple du jeu.
Le support ne m'a pas encore aidé.
sans retour de force le jeu n'a plus d'intérêt et je compte me faire rembourser.
J'espère qu'ils trouveront une solution.

 

I found a solution to this for me. I have been experiencing the FPS drop after upgrading to my Simagic Alpha Mini too.

My XAXIS (the one with FFB) was also controlling another menu item (my radial wheel).
I removed the secondary bind to my steering axis and the issued has resolved. Normal FPS resumed.
