Why are so many german maps and projects cancelled?

i have recently tried to get some german maps / cars, theres one thing i noticed. MANY (were talking like 10) German maps have been cancelled. either due to lack of time to spend with the mod or something else. i'd greatly appriciate if someone knows some good german maps/cars besides the Autobahn. but i dont think someone will find something, because like previously mentioned, most are cancelled.

 

ETK centre plus is a thing, isn't it? Its an expanded version of ETK center, which is small.
