No sound coming out of engine.

I have recently updated to game version 0.34, but no matter what car I spawn, there is no sound coming out of the engine. I can hear every other sound - crash noises, wheel noises, and others - except for the engine and horn sound. I use my monitor's speakers for audio, and I double checked to make sure that the HDMI cord is fully plugged in. I checked my sound settings, and all of them were at 100%. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but the engine sounds still don't play. I already deactivated all the mods. If you know how to fix this bug, please let me know!

 

Can you hear any sound from the engine or horn when launching the game in safe mode?

I have exact same problem, tried changing cars/parts, various settings and still nothing, have you managed to get it working?

Just tried it, and the result is negative
still no sound

 

Have you tried in safe mode? It'll probably be a mod causing it that youll need to deactivate

If its not that then it may be a bug within the game on certain setups

 

tried in safe mode yesterday, and today i launched gridmap and there are glitches on rocks so, will try to reinstall

 

Ive removed all mods and the problem still persist for me all original cars in the game dont have any engine sounds

 

OK, today i uninstalled whole game, removed all files/directories related to the game, and removed all windows registry rules associated with it, and now finally i have sound

I suggest just reinstalling, if that dont work, deleting directiories, and that should do it. I dont recommend changing anything in registry on your own, as it can damage your operating system. If you do it, you do it at your own risk

 

I can live without an engine sound, I guess. I'll just wait till the next update
