At last we've released the new version of the map Also comes with a port of the ADDC map from judgement as it's bonus showroom map while we were there. It will need a beefier PC to run again but hopefully not quite as bad as Yokohama (fingers crossed) Download in the first post
Nice! will this new version conflict with any of the textures that are in the 1988 version of this map?
It's technically a completely separate map so shouldn't cause any issues, though I have no clue if the old one functions anymore and wouldn't recommend it if it did because quality wise it's not aged very well I feel
kinda looks like hoshinova moona or that one girl from rikekoi --- Post updated --- Map wouldn't load for me in vulkan, beam would get to about 60% and then stop responding, no matter how long I left it. Worked fine with the default render, even if it did take forever (but I'm not complaining cos this map is gorgeous)
Can someone help? showing either of these every time BeamNG 0.34.2.0 0x00000001 BeamNG 0.34.2.0 0x00000005 Reinstalled the game/Deep cleaned cache. All other modded maps I have work, but this one just crashes
oh ok cause when I tried to load in IN VULKAN it would just crash and when I tried beamng the normal version of it loaded in just fine but still had a warning in the customization thing.
Same thing on 1060 6gb. Even tried to put mod folder on my m.2 nvme so that it would load faster. Fixed crashing by resetting my settings folder, but it just got stuck at 83% so i gave up and reinstalled all my old settings back.
yeah for me it sometimes loaded in but it would just freeze and be stuck. it always did not load in one thing and would be stuck on loading trees on 83% as well.
Hello, great mod, i downloaded and most of the mod is looking great but there are a few segments on the right side of the map that are empty like in the screenshot, just wondering if it is normal? I have ryzen 7 5800x octacore 3.0ghz, 32 gb ram, nvidia 3080 8gb vram. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, everything, same error, i only have 2 car mods as my other mods. is it that my specs too low to run this? ty for any advice
The outside loop isn't accessible in the original games, we just don't have any of the invisible walls here incase you do fancy going to the out of bounds bits (and so the ai traffic isn't trapped)
I am having a similar issue with maps imported from other games, and I would like to be able to play these maps. Just boosting this post to hopefully get a fix. Thanks
What are your pc specs? these maps will need higher amounts of ram and vram compared to normal maps usually
11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400H 2.70 GHz CPU 32 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU, 4 GB dedicated VRAM and 20 GB total VRAM Nothing crazy, but I feel I should be able to at least load the map, even if it won't run well. This issue also applies to the Isezaki Ijincho, Yokohama map as well as a map by a separate creator imported from AC with lower hardware requirements, leading me to believe that it has a connection with that somehow. I can load other beefy modded maps fine with no crashing on medium or even high settings. Edit: Did some testing with other imported maps from Assetto Corsa and had no issues, makes this more confusing. The loading screen goes fine until a certain point for all 3 maps I am having this issue with, each map has a different time in the loading process when it crashes, the Yakuza maps happens during the forest loading and the third map occurs during mesh loading, all 3 happen at the exact same time in each instance, all of which also have the same error code of "BeamNG 0.34.2.0 0x00000001". I am able to run the "Los Injurus" map (3 gb) with my current settings at more than 30 fps, although that isn't to say that just because this map takes up more space means it's more intensive on the GPU, I don't know if it is for sure or not. All this yap to say, I have no idea why it's crashing and I don't think it's my hardware, although I'm no expert so take it with a grain of salt.
Yeah unfortunately you simply don't have enough dedicated vram to be running this sort of map, anything ported is much more vram intensive than a "proper" map like los injurus and shared vram beyond the dedicated amount is rather slow (and is likely already being heavily used by the map, so unavailable - yokohama gets pretty close to maxing out my pc's 32gb when I have other background apps and windows stuff running) which leads to the crash. This should hopefully get better in future updates but atm there's not much else I can suggest for now. There's a chance it'd load running dx11 but the performance likely would be rather bad.
