Yea its such d*ckish behaviour to leak a mod, the amount of effort these people put in is nuts. There a quite a few modders I know who only share some mods with friends bc of the chance of them getting leaked. And they are modders whose all other mods are paid, and amazing quality
I want the mod to have more configurations instead of just one, like the police car and undercover variants.
I’m having an issue where when I spawn the car I have no speedometer at the bottom right and car won’t start or drive I think it has something to do with the lua folder with it maybe I didn’t put it in the right place? Where should I put it?
i renamed the lua file name to avoid possible conflicts with other mods that use cng or lpg tank lua please redownload the mod and try it again it should be working now install location should be here: C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\(game version)\mods --- Post updated --- unfortunately theres no additional configs are planned
I don't know much about mod development, but just curious why someone would want to keep something like this private in the first place?
There can be a lot of reasons. -Its not their highest quality so they wouldn't want to release it. -It was intended for other things or made for someone specifically, could be for content creation reasons or from commissions. -made for fun to test skills or learn new things And other reasons too.
any reason is good to be honest, even the good old "cause I said so" it's their mod, if they deserve to keep it private its their right
