Hello! Please contact us on fastlanes discord server it will be easier for us to fix these issues. You can also provide a more accurate 3d model of the rs parts since we used parts from assetto corsa mod. Happy new year!
Electric motor cover we tried making it similar to irl version --- Post updated --- as for the reason why the daes are locked. we had problems with people stealing models to their roblox games or beamng mods we just want to prevent situations like this from happening.
We didnt make it too detailed since we are not professionals in moddeling stuff like that we will def want to update engine models in the future
the amount of detail in this mod is insanely CRIMINAL, this must've took months of tireless research for literally everything that it has, and the handling.. it is just, perfection. bravo to both of you, you guys made quite possibly one of the best mods in BeamNG history
Seeing that reminds me of that one video with Captain Slow himself Jokes aside, I've had a fair share of positive and negative emotions about this Dacia mod now that it is finally released and I tried it out for myself. The interactable features present in the mod are a nice touch, in addition to having the Sandero, Logan, and Logan MCV in one mod. While I appreciate the effort being made to recreate all of the variants available worldwide, having over 1,300 configurations in the vehicle selection menu is overkill in my opinion. Yes, I could just remove the configurations manually as previously mentioned, but still, over a thousand configurations easily shames even the Gavril D-Series. And let's not forget the fact that the models are so-called "locked" or "encrypted" or "read-only" right now, as pointed out by Ezo. From my understanding, the BeamNG developers are in the process of removing Torque3D leftovers, which includes the cached.dts format that is found in this mod. I understand that you want to prevent other people from using the models in this mod for other purposes, but this decision comes at a cost of the mod potentially breaking in a future game update where the developers will remove cached.dts support. It also adds another barrier for others to make their own add-ons. But most importantly, if the .dae files themselves were to be lost due to unforeseen consequences like a corrupt disk drive, then fixing any issues in the BeamNG mod would be more challenging (but not necessarily impossible). Honestly, I feel that this move goes against the developers' intentions of making the game more moddable. I'm hoping that you will reconsider the model accessibility aspect one day in the future, if not now for the time being. Otherwise, I can understand the hype behind the mod since the thread was created; the wait may very well be worth it for many people. I'll be using the Dacias from time to time, but that's my two cents in this discussion. (Please don't be discouraged from my honest opinion; it is a massive accomplishment for a free and public mod as it stands today, and I believe it has the potential to be even better )
well guess what that means --- Post updated --- me and my laptop are tweaking my laptop sucks ass bro it is what it is tho but bro 15 fps????
Uhh sorry for my doubt... But i had a near stroke when this much things got released ! and one more time Happy new year to everyone here
My man... 1355 configs, including some obscure Brazilian armpits even I never heard of. And for free? Instant mod of the year 2024. Had a blast recreating my IRL car to almost perfect 1:1 detail, driving it like a madman in Small Island, USA and messing around with the highly interactive interior. I don't have my headphones with me right now, but from what I've heard from the laptop speakers, even the 1.0 SCe sounds like mine! Huge props for including Mercosul plates, but I can't share screenshots without doxxing me, lmao! Wish I could have: glossy non-blinker mirrors and body-coloured parking sensors. That way the car would be a perfect copy of my own. Do you have plans to include interactive media screen, like the Hirochi CCF2? That would be really cool, but not at all necessary. Mod is perfect as is. Though, either I'm not used to my own car yet or the mod one felt short. I feel like my Logan is really long. It feels huge to park.
Nice, noticed that the fuel tanks are combo gasoline + LPG or CNG. Too bad I wasn't able to fill them up at a petrol station. Any way of fixing that in a future update?
If the BeamNG devs ever remove the cached format we will find another way to lock the dae. Unfortunately there are people who take parts like wheels (which were fully modeled by our friend) and use them in their mods without permission. We are just trying to prevent things like that from happening. Thanks for the feedback!
Now I am waiting for some tuning pack for this mod, that will add 3500 more configs I will wait till the end of my life for that
