kofi offers an optional tip for the creators so when i make a free mod i can still earn some money from it
mod is great but my guy you didnt have to make 1355 CONFIGS FOR EVERY SINGLE RENAULT OR COUNTRY CONFIG
Ko-fi has been around for 12 years and is one of the most trusted sites for things like donations. I don't see how it could be sketchy in the slightest.
From what I've been hearing this seems like a pretty nice mod and was interested in using it, but the sheer amount of configs makes my game immediately crash due to being out of memory (I'm not on a weak system, 32gb of ram and a fairly good cpu+gpu). I think it's a native Linux issue with the game maybe? Haven't done any testing with the normal version of Beam running with Proton on DirectX. To be a bit more detailed about the crash, it seems to crash the GUI (MainGEUI) process because it freezes (CefFrameImpl::OnBrowserFrameTimeout - BeamNG's ui is web-based so seems like the culprit to me) when trying to load the configs. Will try to test the mod under Proton later tho, could be a Linux specific issue
some russian configs have their infotainment in romanian for example, the 1.6 Renault Stepway (RU) config
Not in the US, however some people have brought in Renault-badged MXDM Dacias into places like California. Not sure about Taiwan though.
