Non selected vehicle has dull paint effects

Sometimes when I have multiple vehicles spawned, only the selected one has normal effects and the others have, for lack of better words, dull effects. The paint seems less shiny, the colors get darker for some reason (especially noticable on light colored paint) and chrome surfaces look dull and low res. I don't have pictures now but if it happens again I'll try to get a screenshot. This only happens sometimes not all the time, it seems to be a hit or miss occurrence however it's still annoying when it does happen, cause it ruins the vibe for me and looks like crap in screenshots.

I checked through my settings and all my graphics are set to normal, dynamic reflections turned on as well. i rarely mess around with the graphics so I don't think I could've changed something by accident. I couldn't find any option, in graphics or the other settings, that refer to visual effects on specific vehicles (not sure exactly what that would be called). Any help would be appreciaed.

 

I have experienced something similar, and the cause is that "dynamic reflections" are only valid for the player car and that causes graphic differences to the other cars. Maybe it is the same for you?

 

Its because dynamic reflections, vehicles that you are currently using is using dynamic reflections, others are probably not using dynamic reflections because of the fps savings

 

So is there any way to have it apply dynamic reflections on all vehicles? Or am I better off just turning it off? I don’t remember this ever happening before I think 0.33 and I’m pretty sure dynamic reflection already existed before then. Like I said in my OP, I hardly ever touch the graphics settings so I don’t think I could’ve changed a setting without realizing.
