Hi everyone, I know that this is completely off-topic, but I have a question for something I've been trying to figure out for a while. If I don't step on any pedal, the car eventually rolls and when it hits about 1mph, it slams on the brakes by itself. I can't find how to turn it off, so if anyone would know, I'd appreciate it. On topic: Since there have been rumors here and there about pedestrians (I know they won't be added anytime soon probably), it would be pretty cool to get the orange lights for peds with the countdown. If you don't know what I mean, here's a picture: I know that this would probably lower framerates, though.
I second this!! i really hope somehow by some miracle the devs do a refresh on this making them much smarter & less awful at getting lost or wiping themselves out.
yeah, i feel like the cop ai has two modes, bumbling idiots and suicidal maniacs depending on the distance to the player. you can basically bait them to crash into traffic also they remind me of Mostwanteds heat 1 cops by the way you have to take them on a "walk" and when they get some speed up theyll cant help themselves and crash into traffic, spin out or miss a corner
The countdown would also be useful for the vehicle traffic lights too. Plus, the "Walk" and "Don't Walk" lights for the pedestrians can be implemented too!
It would be helpful for the player as well. If you ever want to walk around the city, you just have to hope that you won't get hit by an AI car
Yep, I have walked around downtown Belasco a couple of times and waited for the traffic signals of my street to get red, so I agree.
I really hope that if they can remaster sunburst in the future.It will no longer use the same wheels as ETK. I really can't accept that a German brand and a Japanese brand share the same style of wheels, which is weird.
I'd be inclined to agree, although the 800/K-Series and the Sunburst do share a somewhat similar design language in the face, which is a little weirder IMO. Also (despite this most likely being just a case of re-use assets), it isn't totally unrealistic that the two might've worked together at some point - it has happened in reality with BMW and Toyota for example.
Apart from the Hirochi SunSport RS wheel you mentioned, which is the ETK xSport wheel with another name and a different size, this is also true of the Hirochi TR89 one, which is essentially the ETK ttSport wheel (a classic German Kreuzspeiche style, equipped in the 856 ttSport+ and Kc8 ttSport+ models) with a different name and size. The names by themselves are fine for these Hirochi wheels (the SunSport name especially is really nice) but they could at least have some different designs.
I really hope when they come to remaster the Sunburst, we get proper boxer engines as it just doesn't feel right with it being yet another turbo i4, which the game has PLENTY of
Many of us have been saying this for at least 3 years. There's a bucket load of FWD/FWD-based AWD I4-powered cars in BeamNG (LeGran, Vivace, Tograc, Covet, '88 Pessima, '96 Pessima, Wendover, Lansdale and the current Sunburst), so it's time for something different with the remade Sunburst.
i wonder whenever we get the engine simulator stuff into beam we would get proper dsg farts for the vivace and others
The Vivace I5 used to have some nasty sounding upshifts, but they got rid of them with a shift logic update

Speaking of removed things, I always think about how they made the player (unicycle) node grabber weaker after 0.22ish. Like, yes it's realistic because you're just a person, but it was incredibly fun being able to pull and shove cars. Even though it's a small detail, I really miss that in the game, and I wonder if it can be modded in.
