Hi ! I'm wondering if it would be possible to add a setting for players who would prefer to have power steering enabled by default in cars who has it. Kinda like Clutch Assist for people who has a wheel with 3 pedals. I've read about power steering in the forum how the devs thinks it gives mostly negative results on feeling, but i think it makes cars feel more real, more over, it adds depth to the car simulation. It usually isn't a issue as i just have the reflex to always add it in cars while playing, but... I've began playing career mode, and in Car Jockey missions, I'm unable to modify cars. Since P/S is mostly for comfort, and the career mode does not specifically focus on racing, but city driving as well, i think it should be at least present as a defaultable option for people preferring a more real feeling, or who backs up trailer deliveries. Yes, i could lower the force feedback, but then i would lose the distinction between cars with and without P/S, the same way ABS, or Traction Control and Stability Program can be appreciated on some higher trim levels. Japanese cars from the 80's and 90's which would still offer that choice comes to mind, like the Covet's real life equivalent. Thanks !
Could you just save a config of the car with power steering added as a part? Since power steering is added by installing the part, not by changing any game settings.
What if i play a scenario, or car delivery ? As i mentioned, loaned vehicles are an integral part of career mode and they are random, base game config, none of my choosing.
Custom configs are available in career mode, I believe you just have to put them in the same section as the regular ones instead of in your user file.
