Beam Running in the Background but Not Opening

So here's my problem. After updating to 0.34.1, I launch Beam and everything goes like normal; launcher comes up, click launch, and then a window opens like the game is booting up like normal. But after about five seconds, the window disappears and Beam for some reason is running in the background. It still shows up on my taskbar, but clicking on it doesn't bring the window back.

I've done a cache clear, file integrity check, removed all my mods, and it didn't change anything. The only thing that's working is Safe Mode. I have BeamMP and I've already uninstalled it, but that didn't fix the issue either. So, I'm stumped. Hoping someone else here has had a similar experience after the patch, but I'm not expecting much since it just dropped. But, any help is appreciated.

I have the same issue now.

 

If the game works in safe mode, there might be something wrong with your userfolder. Try moving your userfolder to another location on your PC, and launch the game. This will create a new userfolder. You can then transfer back anything you want to keep, such as mods, configs, etc. Make sure to test the game after moving something, as it could bring back the issue.

 

I have the same issue. Tried everything even installing the game again, deleting the userfolder. Does not work in any safemode either. It shows in task manager but the game does not open. Checked my drivers, tried changing the graphics settings from Nvidia to open the game at the lowest graphics/resolution but still nothing. I installed the game in a different hard drive too. Any solutions so far?

 

Problem has been fixed. Not sure why it was causing the issue but I just unplugged my monitor from HDMI and plugged it back in. Now the game works? No clue why that was causing any issues.

 

This also worked for me, could be because it resets the display?
