Well there are some huge news but it's still a matter of days until I'll be able to show what's up, I want to get everything to perfection before I reveal it

Finally, after 20 days of getting stuff how I want them to be, there's something interesting I can post (engine is temporary, textured highpoly mesh for screenshots, lowpoly version is in work).

Awesome work dude, definitely one of my most anticipated mods in recent memory. Love the detail in the engine bay.

AW T-Wagen ('90-'99)

This car is primarily based on the VW T4 with my own edits and a mix of other vans. I have been working on the mod since April 6, 2024, although I believe the vehicle is still in its early stages. Currently, there is no lore, and I'm not planning on creating one.

Anyway though lets talk about the vehicle itself.

Lets start with functions/planned functions
Planned:

Openable windows

Finished:

Physically movable buttons,

Turnable ignition key,

Odometer,

Obviously, new mirrors support,

Jbeamed, deatachable side trims,

Jbeamed, deatachable spare wheel holder,

And possibly more that I forgot about.

Engines
Coming down to engines, there are planned around 4, although I won’t share more information since I don’t want to promise that a specific engine will be added. One thing I can say is that there will definitely be a 2.4 non-turbo diesel engine. (Also please, don't suggest any engines).

Gearbox
When it comes to gearbox, it will feature a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed racing manual, as well as a 4-speed automatic. Apart from this, there will be 4WD option (Not sure if on release though).

Other parts
There are also some higher trim parts I made, or simply aftermarket parts:

-Painted plastic parts (basically every plastic on the car included, handles, mirror bases etc. With exception for fascia grille and hood grille)
-Smoked/Clear Lights
-Blacked chrome (for now just badges)
-Tailgate/Barn doors
-Foglights
-Scratch made tyres
-Passanger quarterpanels

-Electric windows door panel
-Automatic shifter
-Automatic, Passanger center console
-Navigation cover
-Airbag steering wheel

Why is the mod paid?

Mod will contain various unique configurations (excluding the nearly identical ones differing only by transmission) I'm not going to list the configurations as some may change.

3 unique body styles (Or more) Cargo, Passanger and POSSIBLY Doka (Pick-up) are planned.

Additionally, it will include heavily modified jbeam elements, some scratch jbeamed parts and of course completely scratch 3D model, as well the textures.

Furthermore the modification will feature minor engine modifications (e.g. turbo), and various tuning parts beyond those in the base configurations.

Q&A
Q: Will there be a demo available?
A: Definetely.

Q: What about mod price?
A: It will most likely be below €4.

Q: Will the car have LWB (Long wheelbase) bodystyle?
A: Sadly not.

Q: Will there be ambulance config
A: No, maybe after release.

Q: Will there be police configs (Polish/German)
A: Yes

Q: Will there be High Roof
A: Planned

Q: Will there be "X" bodykit
A: Most common answer is no, I got at the moment all the tuning parts I want planned, although if I'll need help in finding some I'm gonna make sure to ask in the thread.

Q: Wen relez?!
A: My estimates are inaccurate in most cases, so I prefer to leave release date unknown.

I remade taillights texture for X time although this time they're final, I've also added a licenseplate light, pretty cool. Besides that I also fixed some issues and added some not really important texture details. Next progress, probably will be sliding doors
