Does this still have a super loud engine and a reused Moonhawk interior? If so I assume your plan is to replace the latter.
yeah, but right now i'm trying to figure out why blender keeps making weird mesh lighting errors for absolutely no reason. if anyone knows why feel free to let me know
I found the issue, for some reason, when I select a skin option, it changes the paint quality. But when I set the skin design to empty, it looks pbr
Is there a difference between this repository download and the one on the Bruckell Alauda thread other than branding? Also, are you planning to add the straight-six engine, model years from the same generation other than 1970, and most or all of the non-sporty trims? The latter would be greatly appreciated, as four-door American cars of the Golden Age and early Malaise eras are underrepresented at the moment, and almost all muscle car mods from this period neglect the more basic two-door variants and non-V8 engines, let alone four-door platform siblings. Finally, where does this 2.8L inline-four come from? As far as I can tell the smallest engine in the real car was the four-litre straight six; is it meant to be an original addition that differentiates the lore-friendly version from the real one in more than just badge?
I plan to make the forum side name branded, ive been putting most of my effort toward details, and non performance variants (4 door, wagon, ect. The 2.8l i4 was just an arbitrary number. I think I just took 1 liter of the i6 if I'm remembering correctly. It's not based off of anything specific, I just though it would be fun to have an extreme underperforming option. Though a 2.8l 4 cylinder is massive relatively speaking.
heres the fixed version. let me know if there are any issues. some engines dont have nitrous at the moment. and when you spawn the 4 door body, you have to remove the front right door. Not included, but I started redoing the dash
I just tried it, and it's still not quite to a usable state in my opinion due to the driveshaft that floats below the car and the gauges and gear shifter that float way above it. Regardless of whether these are just issues on my end or you actually haven't fixed them yet, I am glad that you have restarted the mod and wish you luck on getting it finished, even if you don't increase the poly count.
Yeah after i updated it to the new moonhawk jbeam, I missed a bunch of little issues like that. This whole car has turned into a real hassle
When was the Moonhawk JBeam updated? It is BADLY in need of a proper remaster, but the fact that it's been getting minor tweaks in practically every update makes me think that one is not planned for the near future, which is a shame since it is far more widely used and loved than the Miramar and Burnside.
