What about SCR? SCR was not on Semis? But in any case, some sort of DPF regen system (I have not so good knowledge on Modern Semi diesels) will be appreciated (as you have said?)
Also could you try to make a more square hood? something like the legacy t series. And also if you havent already, add the different heatshields too.
I do have parts that almost replicate the original T-Series design, like the taillights, apart from that, I do have a more squarish hood, under the "Wide-Nose" Hood application. It comes with 4 variants, sloped, standard, internal and external filter options but besides those alternate options, the Standard Internal Filter version is the one that allows you to recreate your nostalgic memories with the T-Series. Cheers! P.S I'll think about adding the other heat shield options.
I think it would be easy to add those lowered signals as you have the slot and the current ones are good enough, so just move the flexybody and nodes. Another easy thing, you could make another windshields which use the upper wiper design, as the lower wipers are in the windshield flexybody. Then the interior for the older models could be inspired by the legacy t series, i just love how it uses the Times New Roman font, and lights up yellow, that would be harder tough.
The SCR just adds DEF to the exhaust. It would need special code for any of this stuff to actually “work” in game. Plus there’s no working DEF pumps at any stations as far as I know. When I talked about DEF I meant the holding tank with a blue cap, which is usually next to the fuel tank on the driver’s side (occasionally passenger side). Even if it doesn’t actually do anything, it’s pretty much the only visible difference outside the truck post 2010
Not to be one of those people but I have to say I'm losing interest in this fast. I appreciate the work & it looks like it's going to be a decent mod but nearly every time it pops up it's a suggestion for a new feature & this mod just seems to get pushed back even further.
It’s not really a suggestion, I was explaining the differences in newer trucks needed to meet regulations. I’m not actually expecting this to be added, just putting it out for the understanding of others
Sorry to hear that, but unfortunately so far there aren't many messages that seem beneficial or motivating for this project. Cheers!
I hope i can shed some motivation. This will be the greatest T-Series mod ever!!!! I freaking love all the old school parts and the heavy haul parts. I check up on the progress every time i can!!
I get that & sorry to hear. I do hope it gets finished some day, as I said before it looks like it'll be a decent mod, not much going on with the T-Series outside of EFC & VMFunPhysics now that GMT broke down.
I appreciate the kind support, and once this mod makes it's fresh new debut, it will garner the attention of many trucking enthusiasts. Cheers!
I love the look of that cabover is it a 50's type grill? this mod better be in the featured section for at least half a year otherwise the people that decide that have some explaining to do
Thank you, glad you like the progress, and yes it will be monumental when this comes out. Cheers! The cabover grille is a 50s type grille, particularly for the 'Old-Style' Cabover model. And this mod is for sure going to be in the featured tab. Cheers!
