The game looks better when the time is 0.45 and you have the post-fx system enabled with light rays.

Hi all

I've noticed something. I like messing around with various settings and one thing I've noticed is that the game looks significantly better when the TOD time value is 0.45. I'll elaborate.

Here's two views at the standard time, 0.15:


Here it is with the exact same graphics settings but at 0.45 and no other settings are changed.



Sure yeah this is subject to opinion however it really does look great when the sun is in view. Plus, you can normally see the leaf springs, axles etc in detail when driving with the time at 0.45. However that might just be my brightness/ contrast settings. Let me know what you all think.

Also, does anyone know how to permanently change the time so that it stays at 0.45 when I restart the game?

When you exit, and it says something like "You have made changes in the editor. Would you like to save?" Click yes.

Or in the editor go to File -> Save

that doesn't do anything, it only saves edits to the terrain or adding new cars. changing data doesn't seem to save.
