IIRC Jared usually went back when he lived in Arizona, he's into that stuff. It's probably just him sharing stuff he's passionate about while he's on his holiday

i think it makes since because it seems like beam devs like doing themes like the 500 offroad updates in a row maybe it could be classic who knows?

 

Maybe a new German vehicle brand could show up to take that place?

I make these teaser summary posts every update. While I have not done one for 0.35, you can look through that post and eliminate the items we got in 0.34.

As for vehicle content in past Spring udpates:
2024: Ibishu BX remaster, T-Series remaster part 2 + log trailer
2023: ETK 800/K-Series refresh
2022: No spring update
2021: Soliad Wendover, Bruckell LeGran remaster
2020: Cherrier FCV, Gavril D-Series remaster
2019: Hirochi eSBR

 

I meant more in the sense of real-world German brands to draw inspiration from, to avoid "poaching" ETK's engineering or styling quirks or vice versa.

It's about time.

• A motorsport update? Nice! I saw a button for a rally game mode in the main menu the last time I opened BeamNG, and also because of the rally course seen in the photo.
• I also hope to see Group A and Group B rally configs for cars that don't have them already.
• Speaking of rally cars, I hope to finally see a Sunburst remaster after more than 11 years since it was released, as everything about it is outdated, including but not limited to the proportions, textures, and customisation. I hope to see an overhaul of the car soon, with new body styles (sedan, coupe, hatchback, and wagon) and new boxer engines in addition to the existing inline-4 engines.

There still might be some cryptic messages in the teaser, however, so apologies if I missed to spot any.

Yeah definitely ECUSA. The prefabs for rally mode (I assume) are new though.

• You can access rally mode the same way career mode was in the begining. It's basically just point to point quick races with visual pace notes.
• I've been hoping to see proper race car classes for ages. Some cars do now but the team has not been consistent with it, with some new content getting proper classes and some not.
  
• I wouldn't be surprised to see more rally vehicle content, but the Sunburst isn't the only option there. The old Pessima and I-Series both could get high spec rally cars in a remaster, and the SBR could get something inspired by the rally Cayman/Dakar 911. Even the Burnside should get a tarmac rally version in its remaster
