    That is steams fault I'd say. or you're internet, or you're connection to you're currently selected steam server.

    still don't get how everyone else seems to have download problems, downloaded just fine at 7MByte/s for the entire download for me

    working hours: Tuesday: 10-18, 21-04 (~14 hour day). Wednesday: 10-19,22-02 (~13 hour day)

    Worked on:
    • network hardware change this morning
    • crashreport automation: python script that inspects and analyses the submitted crash reports
      This is how the output of the script looks like:

      So the game crashed on someones computer at that corner. We only get this information if you submit the crashreports as well, so please submit them all, so we have a chance of fixing them :)
    • working on new release a bit
    • lots of minor things that i forgot
    • thanks to the crashreports, Luis was able to identify two main problems that he instantly fixed :)

    Preparing 0.3.7.3 release atm :)

    About the download problems: i think we don't give the steam servers enough time to sync the update before we switch it active, resulting in worse speed as everyone downloads from one single server?

    I am almost certain it will be the Hirochi SBR4. Its listed as almost in game in the wiki. You never know though, because we have multiple vehicle makers now.:rolleyes:

    Other than that, we have strange things before releasing an update every time.

    Has there ever been an issue where the game messed with unrelated files, similar to the Myth II bug where the uninstaller would delete everything if the game wasn't in the default folder?

    Or would a bug like that depend on other factors that BeamNG doesn't involve?

    200BX is next, actually. Mitchell has modeled all the underbody and suspension :) Once the T75 and Sunburst are done, I'll begin jbeam work on the 200BX.

    You guys should really go into detail with the motors. In the future when there will be like a store system and where you fix up cars it would be nice to have each company their own branded engines. Comparing Nissan Honda and Toyota,

    Nissan:

    SR20
    KA24
    RB26

    Honda:

    R18
    K24
    J35

    Toyota:

    2JZ
    1ZZ
    1UZ

    Bit dull and a waste of time some people would consider but it would be interesting to see this approach and alot of us hard core enthusiasts would enjoy the level detail.

    For example the Covets 1.5 could be know as the CZ15, the 200BX could either be a CZ20 like a later on version of that genre of motors or maybe something different. Most american v8s could just go by their size like the gavril 4.5 is a 274, but even ford calls the new 5.0 the Coyote engine.
