Yes you´re completly correct. It remains still a meshslap, but I at least tried, to edit most of the JBeam, so it´s a meshslap with effort put into it
Pssst! I'm working on a new mod with a lot of effort put into it. Stay tuned until I make a thread for it around friday. For more information, check my latest posts in development screens and Wentward cb40L. It will be an older car, only for your information. I plan, to make it a full size mod and will even try, to learn more about skins, JBeam and different materials. See you!
Nice, Maybe a link to the message? --- Post updated --- Just saw the message and, Im happy to see a trabant finally!!
just amazing thanks my dad had this car... also question... I know its released but will be some more updates or is it just kaput?
BUMP I had some time on my hands and gave my very first Beamng.drive mod, the second generation Fabia a little rework: Upgraded Textures: Proper underbody: Better JBeam structure: Better looking lights (not baked tho, don´t know, if I´ll do this): Improved interior textures with new gauges, from the ETK800: I still need to assemble some configurations and if you want it, I´ll upload it on the forum thread of the Fabia. (The rework is completly independent from the original mod and will not conflict with it. I tested this.)
Hey, i am not gonna be a critic haha, however to bake the headlights, firstly make/find a headlight texture which includes all of the lights that you would need: brake lights, reverse lights, headlights singals I might have missed some but that's beside the point. Or you can add a single image with all the colors that would be: red, white, yelllow You can make halogen lights by using a beige-ish tone. A second step is to UV map your headlights, and if you have a little of blender experience, you would normally go into UV editor, open the image, and accordingly uv map your headlights so for example brake lights are on the red texture. Sorry for my broken english in some places, search on the internet to find a bit more about uv-mapping and things mentioned here, good luck And if you wanna do halogen lights, you would probably use this tutorial:
I can help you, with making em brighter or not so bright, whichever, but if you don't trust me, I'm totally fine with it.
Got the filament lights to work. Still have to do some finetuning, but overall, it looks pretty damn good
