..What? The Crown Vic had a SOHC 2-valve V8. The Mustang had the very same motor with better performance, and then performance models, like the Cobra, had the DOHC engine. There is zero reason to remove the base-model V8 engine.
with this mod im on the fence about my purchase of it its a good mod dont get me wrong but the styling is off it seems like its trying to be both its own thing but also a lore friendly mustang and its just on the fence of being odd in my opinion i would have personally prefered more of a one or the other approach
In his defense, he did say that it was supposed to be a mix of early 2000s muscle cars. (I believe he said mostly sn95 with a bit of 4th gen firebird/trans am thrown in. Despite a few issues it's a good mod. I was reluctant too. I would say its worth it if you are REALLY into these types of cars. If not, you'll get bored rather quickly as there's not much customization for the price. It would be nice if he would just release the demo for those who are undecided. Still not sure why that's so hard.
Okay so make the base V8 the Grand Marshall 4.5 with maybe a few more horses? My issue isn't the basic v8 model existing, but that the base V8 is a weird third size engine.
If you own a wheel and an h shifter this mod is worth every cent. This is the most fun you will ever have with a muscle car in beam. I have only one complaint. With CCF on the convertible when you drop the top the interior muffling goes away. If it would be possible to make this car do the same it'd be amazing. --- Post updated --- Another issue for me is the non supercharged 4.2 and 4.5 v8 models idle super ough lke they have a big cam or something. I had a 96 thunderbird with a 4.6 2 valve and it did not idle like that. idle roughness needs to be toned down a bit
I want to know if this mod is really worth it, i live in New Zealand and its gonna cost me 7 bucks, so is it really worth that much or should i just get the demo
I would say that it is worth it, however, I would say that you should probably wait for the demo to come out before you make a decision.
if i were you id go be a bum out on the streets and beg for money you'll get $7 for a nice afternoon in the sun
"Quick Ratio Drift Steering" seems to be breaking upon braking or slowing down, it's very fragile it seems
I wish @LucasBE would give us any news at all about when 1.1 is coming and what's planned for it, it's been a month since 1.0 dropped.
Nothing concrete for now except bug fixes and maybe some new content. 1 month is pretty much nothing.
Dude, I paid money for the mod. I can ask periodically to see if there's anything happening on it if I want to.
Yeah but why dont you use some common sense and understand the mods been out a month give the guy a fkn chance to make content for it mate. You think its a quick and easy process making from scratch parts? Relax yourself
theres a difference between being entitled to ask questions and being annoying asking questions all the time
I am aware it isn't like I demanded the car be magically updated this instant, but I like knowing what the PLANS for the next update are even if they aren't ready yet. I only ask for communication on what the next update is supposed to have, I never said "you need to finish this update NOW!" I understand actually creating the update takes time. Everyone here can quit crying over something so simple, it's ridiculous. And don't give me some BS about "well if he announces the plans for the next update it takes away time to make it" bro it takes like 30 seconds, maybe a minute tops to make a quick post going "Next update planned features and fixes:" and list them off.
