These are really cool but im sorry, paid? I suggest if you make a really high quality vehicle mod you can make it paid. But this. sorry not really

There is a barrier similar to it and I will try to add angled suspension in the future.

It's about time paid mods get banned from the forums.

looks like it could be good, but I don't see a reason to make it paid.

I'm all for paid mods, but why should this be paid? I understand you could make a bit of money, but this mod doesn't look like it's paid mod quality. It's a cool idea, but until it gets better textures etc. it shouldn't be paid or over £1.50.

"Although the barriers take heavy inspiration from their real life counterparts, they should NOT be used for real life comparisons." so youre saying its paid but likely not even accurate or well made?

    I may.

Barriers aren't going to be as accurate as something like a realistic simulation that takes hours to finish as BeamNG is a simplified real time simulation after all. The barriers will have purposeful strength as well as shape accurate so it should be reasonably close I'd say. Also, I don't want to associate with BeamNG vs real life videos which may use real life car mods that could fool some people.

I plan to make a video about this sometime soon

Still that doesn't justify it for being paid yes? If you're saying that your selling point is its accurate jbeam then so are (most) car mods, even the most cheapest paid car mod has that as its standard, hell even free ones, i don't see the reason why this will be paid
Another thing is that you don't have the reputation, which makes alot of things scummier imo

I saw how badly paid mods disrupted the Assetto Corsa modding scene and I knew crap like that would end up spreading to here. But no, of course, modding for passion is dead. It's all about cash cash cash now.

It is indeed very cool, but making it paid would not be worthwhile because firstly people would not buy it and secondly it would only make sense to make it paid because you might have bought a 3d model :)

there is already a mod for this, and no one needs a paid version:
    - you are a untrusted creator
    - you cant really price this reasonably
    - fix your damn textures it looks like a toy
oh no buddy, everything will go wrong
