I'm gonna put my general opinion of this mod here, as I feel like a regular review wouldn't really sum things up enough.

I'll start by saying that this isn't a perfect mod. It's got it's bugs and flaws. But what mod is perfect, right?

There's certainly some texture/UV issues with the car, most notably along the lines of the fenders and hood, the door seams, along the trim around the windshield, rear window, and doors, as well as the trunk and rear bumper. The textures around the front bumper and grille/headlights look pretty good, though. And that front end, I quite like the look of it. EDIT: Also, the inside of the front bumper has no textures, it's completely see-through.

The badging seems very generic and honestly struggle to fit the Soliad brand, especially when parked between missionsystem's 1976 Wendover and the vanilla Wendover. Though, the Turbo on the B-Pillar alone looks fine.

The taillights are another issue, looking like simple textures on the back, and not separate pieces attached to the body.

Not really much to say about the interior, aside from that, even though it's still the same generic looking markings as the badging, the implementation of them on the interior panels is well done, they actually look stamped into the plastic, not pixelized textures, so well done!

I've seen it said that the car doesn't fit too well with the time period, since it 'should' be more downsized, but I personally think it shows signs of a company that was struggling with downsizing and being too stubborn to abandon the existing RWD platform, and instead deciding to slap some 'modernized' bodywork on an outdated car to save a few (million) bucks. Something that the following generation of Wendover would resolve, maybe as a result of new management that worked to turn around the company's misfortunes (somewhat mirroring the real life Chrysler in the late 70s/early 80s).

Plus, if you do put this next to missionsystem's 1976 Wendover it's overall length is a few inches shorter, showing that Soliad made minimal efforts to downsize at the time, a result of poor upper management.

So, if you look at it in that light, it actually comes to be a pretty interesting representation of late malaise American cars, transitioning into a new era, while also showcasing the shortfalls of poor corporate management. Just needs some additional refinement, some different, higher quality badging, perhaps some reworking of the interior with some more modern parts and components (namely the steering wheel, gauges, and audio system) and maybe some additional configurations.

    My overall verdict: 3.5/5

I am Gonna extremely honest. the mod went far further than the original intended purpose. I also crammed it with features like Abs and improved fuel injection.

What makes the mod work for me is that it does look like an older version of the 1987 Wendover. Good job!
