My biggest concern with this mod is that it was reviewed months ago by most people, (I would say the latest main review was by Simulator Adventures back in 2.0, when not even the correct rear suspension was in, which was added in 3.0) and by now those versions are incredibly obsolete and don't reflect the curent state of it...also, some that use the mod on their videos keep using old versions as well, which is also kind of a shame...but of course, the mod as it is now was impossible to do on a first release not only for obvious reasons, as mods evolve overtime, but also since key people that helped shape the mod weren't there back then.
Still, it's been a constant source of improvements. It takes a lot to do that. Jorge, you should be extremely proud of your work.
hello! i have downloaded this mod but the headlights and front signal lights do not work do you think it is possible to make them work? (every other light besides the headlights and signals in the front only work)
This is relatable, had the same issue before with some of my mods and had to reach directly to Camodo to use up to date versions of my mods, he would use old ones and complain that things are broken. This was years ago
Not yet, maybe in a future update. Are you using 0.34 version of the game? If so, they should work, I don't think a cache problem can cause that specific issue. Otherwise, I can't help you. That's kinda ironic, since I would want to think big youtubers would know better (updating or at least check for updates for the mods they use at least...once a year?) but yeah, it seems that's still mostly the case, a mod gets downloaded and it's used for months and months until it breaks with a combo of really old mod version and newer game versions, and then it's the modder's fault...again, you say that happened years ago and could make sense then in a context of not having yet the habit being new to the game, but I don't think things have changed much, at least for certain mods and certain youtubers.
Nice to see this is still getting worked on after all these years. Stellar update as always, though I did run into a bug with the high-end RHD gauge. I'll clear the cache sometime tomorrow and see if that fixes it, but I'll make a note of it anyway in case it doesn't.
That is indeed a real issue, not cache related...somehow I missed that specific gauge version and it looks like that, with the rev counter in the LHD position and the textures broken, so thanks, will be fixed for the next update.
For one, we have no right to complain, for a free mod. And two, dev quality as a baseline isn't something to go by anymore, imo. Mods from Theo and Finn; CCF & the Procyon brand, LJ74s, LucasBE, Zuweisung WIP mods; especially the LUA...etc, I can go on; my point is, all of these in my opinion beat the average dev quality vehicle. Considering the fact that you even modeled the trunk latch, (and everything that is supposed to be there without the panels), customizable seatbelts (name me an official car that has that?). I'd say you went above and beyond, especially for the fact that you're giving away your work for free. I would've bought it, even if I'm being truely honest - it's not my favorite car, I prefer larger vehicles; but that's just my personal preference, I'm Canadian. I'd buy it, just for the principle of supporting hard-working modders who add insanely good innovative interesting content to one of my favorite games of all time. So, don't count yourself short of others. People will hate, but you have the ability to ignore those who do so; while knowing you're doing the best you can. You can only get better from here after all lol.
I would like to mention, Simulator Adventures did just release a video about 24 hours ago about the updated version of this mod.
