I'd like to drive a vic in the rain and see how it compares to my truck. RWD in the rain is a near death sentence in the rain. Without any weight in the rear I spent half my time spinning my tires in the rain. If you need to pull out onto a busy road you might as well forget it, anything about ~1500rpm=wheelspin. Luckily I have the 4wd option for those situations.

My Ranger with its 240lbsft torque, 4.30LSD and 3000lbs curb weight made for an awesome ride in the rain. I got on the gas ONCE about one quarter of the way to the floor and that thing did a full Initial D around the corner. Must of freaked people out behind me....

I have a 2000 Silverado with the 5.3L V8 ~300HP (don't know the torque figures). Managed to do a 720 at an intersection in my neighborhood. It was extremely icy and I got wayyyy too throttle happy.

I only (in my whole winter of driving on cheap Chinese tires) spun my truck about 180 pulling onto a street. Tried to drift and I went a bit to far so my front right ended up in the snow. Not bad for a 2wd in New England.

Is the G430 a good headset? I'm looking at buying either the G430 or the G35. I have a corsair H1500 which has been RMA'd twice therefore I am just getting a refund now.

I hope mine doesn't have traction control. I forgot to check for a button in the glovebox, so I don't know.
If you know what you're doing, it just gets in the way more than anything.

No, it's just he noticed by my username and my avatar literally everywhere on my computer. And he caught me on FA once. But yeah, not much else giving it away. I don't have a suit, it's like $2k. Don't have that kind of money, and a company who makes them says you need to be 18. I'm not. And no, birthmarks like that don't exist. And now after the math test my teacher is telling us to draw a picture of our favorite animals. Awkwardness ensues.

EDIT: Stick cat isn't very appealing.

That doesn't tell anyone you're a furry. For example gabester's old username was Kitteh and that's literally only because he had a cat, it really tells you nothing.

You're really expecting too much from your freinds, unless they're psychic, then they're obviously not very good.

    Well, it's all fixed now.

I spent 45 minutes trying to figure out why I was getting the index errors.

It was a fucking equal sign.

I don't know PHP, but why are you comparing strings as numbers instead of integers/floats/other numbers?

It sounds really good and the surround effect is nice. Unlike the G35 which is USB, the G430 is 3.5mm with a USB adapter, so you can also use it as a stereo headset with your phone. You need the USB adapter to use the virtual 7.1 sound though.

    Re: General discussion chat

I got kinda paranoid about my 500w not being able to handle a pair of overclocked 270s and a very overclocked 8320. (Along with HDDs and a lotta case fans that I need to keep my 8320 from going into meltdown mode.) So I spent 40 bucks on a refurb Corsair 750w. I would have gotten something modular but the cheapest modular Corsair was 600w and more expensive. I mean, I'm sure my current PSU would be fine for most games and stuff but not for folding/mining. (I plan to do a lot of folding on the second GPU.)

I also ordered zip ties. Zip ties are the duct tape of whatever zip ties do that duct tape doesn't.

well, the only other cars i've driven a lot to really get a feel for handling is our expedition, so to me a crown vic/grand marquis/town car is going to handle extremely well in comparison

Lol I get what you mean.
I only ever drive the highlander and the truck, so when I drive the Cx-9, which is rare, it feels like a sports car.
    Speaking of the highlander, we're gonna be trading it in for a Genesis tomorrow. ;-;
It's sad. We've had that car since shortly after I was born. I don't want to let it go. :<
