I sent a dm a few days ago but I think some the photo's I linked to show changes didn't upload correctly, I'll send you another dm to explain and include some jbeam files if you need
I was talking about the front and rear at least looking like the 97-00 model in game with simple parts you can add. No need to get everything 100% correct imo. Btw just bought your mod, and love the VIP config so far. Good job!
soooooo I got it and I'm a little disappointed there's no track set up and its weird how I have to go to the front suspension settings to get to the engine and Transmation settings
Guess I could say it's more realistic now. Was caught off guard by the initial ibushu bx like handling.
That's because the engine only mounts to the front subframe, so can't be installed without it. --- Post updated --- Thanks so much for your help. I took a quick look at what you sent me a couple days back, but I'll take a closer look when I'm back to the Avior.
I don't know if you allow suggestions, but would a passenger airbag be too far in the realm of possibilites?
as someone that has owned 93-96 and 98 LS400s there shouldn't be a "track" variant. it is a luxury car designed to cruise with style for the US market. if anything this platform has to offer on a track would be to drift giving its almost 50/50 weight distribution and the standard FR (front engine V8 Rear Wheel drive) setup as factory. And for people who have complained that this mod is paid, i think thats perfect for it to get support like that. the hours and days.. hell months into this shouldnt be looked over because the detail in this model is top notch, arguably better than some ingame vehicles!
Imo there should be every variant, so people can choose what to use. Makes no sense to me to exclude a fun track variant, just because the base is a luxury sedan.
Seems like the rear suspension is shaking when using the adjustable coilovers. Happens at low speed and when doing donuts. Video for reference (VIP Preset): Was just wondering if this was a bug or is supposed to happen? Kinda bothers how there's certain node shaking noises whenever driving
I'm fairly certain that's actually not to do with the suspension itself, but rather the amount of nodes on the perimeter of the wheel. A lower amount of nodes will make a wheel not behave quite circular at low speed as it's effectively being forced to bounce between the ones it does have, rather than the high speed smoothening it gets. --- Post updated --- If anything, the reason the Avior doesn't have a track variant is because, due to the fact that it's not a good option for one to begin with, it'd take a massive amount of effort to make it one that is actually useful, and even then it probably wouldn't be that great.
Love the mod and details on it. Is there any chance a I6 engine can be added and maybe a beat up version of the body and parts?
Made a forum account to post this. Please fix the rear suspension. It has too much bump steer/toe change to be usable. This can be accomplished by changing anti squat characteristics. It looks pretty good though.
With the arrival of update 1.0.4, one of the changes was the replacement of the flywheel with the torque converter. However, I noticed that on the parts list, it still shows the flywheel. Did you mean that the characteristics on the transmission was changed or that the actual flywheel part was to be removed? Edit: Nevermind! I didn't realize that there was another instance of the mod that was unpacked and causing the update to not show properly. Now I see the torque converter.
i just updated the mod, but i dont feel much of a difference in the trans, did the update make a big difference?
