Interesting to see so many people struggling with Vulkan still. All my Vulkan problems went away like 2 or 3 updates ago
Nice name for the app, hadn't thought about it tbh. Gets it in line with the Odometer UI App. Yep, it's indeed nice and useful to know the distance and the steps we walk each time!
If I need to upgrade my setup to play Beam.NG, when my current setup can can currently run it fine at 60 FPS. I'll be ticked off.
As it is, the Covet MR Turbo/MR Turbo Evolution is a very entertaining car to drive and, especially with the MR Turbo Evolution, it's amazing for me to be able to at least flash my lights directly at the Bolide 350. But I absolutely agree, an MR Turbo II Evolution as the ultimate MR Turbo Covet, with AWD and crazy aero body parts (and with the "Evolution" ECU/Turbocharger parts of the MR Turbo Evolution, but the UHD Long Block for even more power than with the HD one of the MR Turbo and the MR Turbo Evolution), would be great to be had!
The first update for the year usually drops between late-March to mid-April, with some exceptions. All spring update release dates since 2017: -0.9 (Friday, April 14, 2017) -0.12 (Tuesday, April 3, 2018) -0.16 (Friday, May 3, 2019) (This was due to Nvidia drivers causing the game to crash) -0.19 (Wednesday, April 8, 2020) -0.22 (Monday, March 29, 2021) -0.25 (Wednesday, June 15, 2022) (The delays were due to the Scintilla taking so long to make) -0.28 (Tuesday, April 4, 2023) -0.32 (Tuesday, April 16, 2024) Given that a Sunburst remaster wouldn't be too far out-of-reach for the devs at this point, and there being no odd driver issues (yet), I believe we can expect this update to drop in the usual time frame.
Same as everyone ! I would like a glance at the new Sunburst ! I can't really imagine they created another world editor tool in a single update haha
I can only load the smallgrid in Vulkan. No other maps work for me, even in safe mode. It's never really worked for me.
It works for me, but it cuts my Framerate into a 1/4 of what it was in the main branch. --- Post updated --- I literally go from 60 FPS idle on WCUSA with DirectX, to 15-ish FPS idle on WCUSA with Vulcan.
I would really love to see Vulkan being more optimised. On Fedora it runs pretty well, on Windows not so much..
Vulcan really feels like a massive step backwards for us low end windows users. --- Post updated --- I know that it is technically a step forward, but its been out for a little while now and I have tested it with every update, and none of them have noticeably improved the framerate vs the last version. Everytime it hovers around 15 FPS idle in WCUSA.
