That would be epic, but it looks like that when it is stopped at the beginning and the end of the video.
i could be mishearing it but at 9s in the video is that antilag ? he goes off the gas you hear the the backfire burbling and then the turboflutter just like antilag and before you people mention it the other times in the video it doest do it and goes straight into the flutter maybe you can turn it on and off or he was still a bit on the throttle
can someone give me the link to the video? not the video itself --- Post updated --- im in school and using my school chomebook but but they blocked YouTube....
I'm actually really surprised they basically fully changed the drivetrain and didn't build upon the transverse 4 cylinders
This car needed a remaster so badly, the quality of the Sunburst right now is not up to par, and REALLY needed engine upgrades. The devs really are cooking
Honestly, if the car is being recreated from a ground-up in terms of layout and mechanics, it makes you wonder if the main styling is even gonna be carried over. I think looks-wise it will be quite loosely based on the current sunburst. And I'm gonna say it's better for it.
We already have that and it's lovely! --- Post updated --- Just noticed that the intercooler is in its typical place at the front and not on top of the Boxer. It's a tiny bit of a shame, really, since the hood vent of the existing Sunburst could be perfectly functional... But oh well, the newfound FWD Boxer layout and the new Boxer 4 sound have pumped me up for good! Also, according to the visualizations you uploaded, the longitudinal Boxer 4 doesn't seem to be taking that much more room compared to the transverse I4. And that's great!
yeah but with a more Porsche looking body it would be really fun, as it would have a longer wheel base
Hmmm, that's interesting. A modern, neo-retro Piccolina could be made and retain the RR Boxer 4s, for departing from the typical boring concept of making modern versions of classic RR cars but simply basing them on typical boring FWD Econoboxes (see the Fiat 500, which is based on the Panda and the VW New Beetle, which was just a Golf IV in drag)... And cost isn't a matter either, since these neo-retro cars are already more expensive than their humble relatives! So yes, a modern neo-retro RR Piccolina could definitely exist!
