I don't think the skyline has a center exit exhaust, 2 piece headlights
The bumpers are a different shape, the r34 and even r33 are much much more boxy, the grille goes below the headlight like, the roof is lower, the rear quarters are longer

 

Modding takes a lot more effort thank you'd think. I'm happy to support it . And blatant copy is a bit rude, the entire rear fascia is different for example.

 

Mod? Only one? There are hundreds of Skyline R34 mods in BeamNG that are both high-quality and free. I don't know where the stupid 'High-Quality = Paid' remark came from, but it's absurd.

In that case it looks like a bootleg R34, im sorry if that sounded harsh but what i meant is that charging money for a car that looks really, really similar to a Skyline is greedy. If the creator is going to charge money for this then maybe they should modify the car shape in general way more, if not, its not worth paying for it.

 

We don't get to say what a mod should and shouldn't be, it's subjective. You might want something original but others might want something close to the real thing. It's not greedy, it's the same amount of effort.

 

Ok? I did not know a dev was making a paid mod... I mean it looks good, they are an actual Beam.NG Vehicle Artist after all.

 

that notion doesn't exist...there are a ton of absolute trash paid meshslaps and we know their garbage, but we do know known developers such as op who is a DEVELOPER FOR THE GAME will make stuff worth the couple dollars it costs

 

mfw a mod that takes months if not years to make gets criticized by some soggy biscuit for costing less then a McDonalds breakfast

There is not hundreds of good R34 mods, infact I would say more like a mere handful. What I suggest you do is use you're eyes, read the thread, find pictures of the headlights and centre mounted exhaust and try and tell me it looks identical. You know it doesn't look identical, you were just trying to find a good reason to talk shit on someone's hard work. Go to literally anywhere else other than the forums and talk about it there as much as you want. Go cry to someone else about how evil NinetyNine! is for having a genuine side hustle.

 

The fact that this car looks like a Nissan Skyline R34 does not mean that the mod does not deserve to be paid and that the mod will be bad, Ibishu Pessima MK1 looks like a Honda Accord, does this mean that the car is terrible? No, it's just that some mods and cars from developers can only have one prototype
Gavril H-Series looks like Ford Econoline, but the similarity to the real prototype doesn't make the mods/developer cars bad

 

Then go cry in the corner with your Modland R34 and shut up

 

I cant wait to buy this, but also if this was an official dlc, i'd buy it. I think if you, lucas and theo, lj (and co) had their mods put on as a dlc pack with guarenteed dev updates, I so would buy it.

 

Yeah, I'm starting to think something like Cities Skylines 2 Content Creator Packs, where the established modders are making additional content for the base game which is published as a DLC, is not such a bad idea. Though probably much more difficult to execute since making a car for BeamNG is significantly harder, and you can't just take and publish something that was already made before.

If you've got a problem with this, don't interact. Leave. Download an actual Skyline R34 mod. Do as you say you want to, nobody is stopping you. Apart from hating on mod creators that are amazing for having the strength to go through people like you and still actually working on AND EVEN FINISHING the mod. It would (for me at least) be tough to keep modding something into the game and keep a high level of quality with people like you on every corner. Seriously, you are not welcome here if you are going to act like this. If you really think an actual Skyline R34 mod is better than this I am not the one to judge or to tell you what is right or wrong.

they're all Ibishu BX Diana Jbeam with a pirated 3d model with slightly modified BX materials
