A road winding through a hilly forest. Mostly intended for low end systems Curios what you think and if there’s demand for such a map ^^ [Repository]
Map is completely done in blender. Most objects like roads utilize some trickery using BeamNG’s 2 uv-maps as well as multiple material layers.
Looks great! At the moment my wip project is in forest state as well I build for months and yours is already online, haha!
hey man...is there way you can make longer winding maps? stuff like this would keep my playing beamng...i don't have money now but when i do i'd be donating to your patreon like madness...i promise on my life
No Patreon, might be something worth considering Thanks to being made in blender the length of the road is nearly limitless technically. I still kept it a bit smaller here for performance reasons, and so that I could get it done sooner ^^
Would you mind terribly if I borrowed some of your assets? I am doing a 20km forest rally stage and trying to use the trees from East Coast USA, but they're killing the performance. EDIT: Oh wait, I just read that it was all done in Blender, so not as simple as unpacking and cherry picking assets
The current ecusa trees are a little higher poly than the old ones. I've kept them in an asset example folder and could zip them up and send them if you like. You could also get the same trees from cilff roads or old versions of ecusa on the repo.
