Hey guys, I was wondering why my laptop won't get high FPS while playing beamng? The specs aren't TOO bad so I expexcted it to run better....
    Here are the specs:
    Model: Acer Aspire M5-583P-6423
Intel HD Graphics 4400, up to 1792 MB Dynamic Video Memory
i5 1.6GHz with turbo boost up to 2.6GHz
    6GB of RAM
    Windows 8.1 64-bit

I read on steam that the minimum requirements were only 2GB of RAM so I figured I'd be okay? Let me know if something is off or if I should try something else. And yes I've already put ALL of the settings as low as the could go and still only okay results :/

    Thanks in advance!

Those specs are quite terrible for BeamNG, put bluntly. Intel integrated graphics and a slow i5 simply won't cut it. However, resizing the game window through the Ctrl+O menu can work wonders. Also ensure PostFX is turned off as it can be quite GPU intensive.

Torque3D + Intel HD = <15FPS on a good day. Your laptop simply does not meet up to the requirements

I use an Acer Veriton (specs are in my signature) and I can get ~30fps on lower settings, and that's on an Intel HD Graphics 4000.
Your main problem is your processor is not quite up to par with what it should be to run BeamNG.drive.
Keep in mind this game is very CPU and GPU intensive at times because it is a Physics Simulator. A lot goes on that you don't see in the game, things like weight distributions and g-forces and much much more.
Plus: Laptops don't equal gaming or simulators.

My recommendation is to run the game windowed on low resolution with lower settings and try to see what fps you can get.
Best of luck to you. :D
