No wonder why I always had oversteering issues when I made some BX configs
I believe that's because you're paying for the brand, not the car. It's kind of like Ferrari, they're not really the best at anything out there, but they're very well known for being a status symbol. I wouldn't really say the Bastion is really a luxury car or used as a status symbol, so it makes sense for it to be cheaper.

To be fair, the 2013 Nissan GT-R (545hp, so not dramatically more than the SBR4) had a base price of $97,820. The 2013 Porsche 911 Carerra 2D (350hp and not even AWD) went for $87,990 when new. So, I think the price is fairly reasonable for the SBR4.

Still $95K (if you are talking about USD) is a bit too much, I say $80K is better given the year that it came from and it being a Japanese car since for a 2015 BMW M3 (425 hp) costs only $63K USD (and $82K with all options).

For a while, the top-line SBR4s used to be ~$85K USD. I'm not sure why they got bumped in price (or when), but it's been like that for a while.

And by 2018, the 911 GTS (~450 hp, bang on with the SBR4 S2) cost ~$121K USD. (I'm not sure if that's for the RWD or AWD version, though.) Compared to that, $95K USD's quite a bargain. The GT-R also experienced similar price hikes between 2013 and 2018 - a 2018 Pure cost $101K USD, while a Track Edition cost $130K USD. Granted, the '18 GT-R has more power than the SBR4 S2 (565 hp, to be exact), but that's still quite a bit more money. (And that's not even including the $177K Nismo edition.)

While overall, the SBR4's prices might be a bit high, they're not unreasonably high compared to the IRL vehicles that Gabe took inspiration for the SBR4 from, IMO.

You may be correct on the SBR4 TTS2 not being too overpriced, I would say $80K is reasonable given you mentioned the 2018 Nissan GT-R Pure costing 101K with 565 hp. Since the TTS2 has 450 hp, so I say $80K is reasonable consider the horsepower difference. What I don't get is that the base RWD NA Manual (with only 200 hp) costs $48.5K, it shouldn't cost any more than $35K.

Horsepower isn't everything when it comes to price - the 2020 Alfa Romeo 4C (237 hp) cost $68,745 USD. The 2016 Porsche Boxster GTS (330 hp) cost $75,595 USD. The 2016 Cayman GT4 (385 hp) cost $84,600 USD. And none of these had AWD systems, which the top-line SBR4 has. While the 2016 Audi TT RS (394 hp and AWD) cost only $66,890 USD, that also was based on a Golf, not a bespoke platform like the other three cars (or the SBR4). I still think the pricing for the SBR4 is reasonable enough.

Speaking of the TT S2, I find it a bit odd that the SBR4 doesn't use the "RS" badge from the Sunburst. There's the "S" trims (both 2.0L- ("S") and 2.5L- (TT S) twin-turbo F4s), but the top-line version is the "TT S2". This is in contrast to all the other brands' performance/luxury trims, which generally get carried across many decades (these years are when the trims started production, not the models):

-Gavril has the "RoadSport" variants on the Bluebuck (1962), Barstow (1969), Roamer (1992), Grand Marshal (1995), and D-Series (1998).
-Ibishu has the "GTZ" trims on the Miramar (1963), Covet (1986), '88 Pessima (1988), BX (1990), and '96 Pessima (1996).
-ETK has the "TTSport" trims on the I-Series (1985), 800 Series (2013), and K-Series (2015).
-Civetta has their "Corse" brand for the Bolide (1984) and Scintilla (2020).
-Bruckell/Soliad have their "Luxe/Deluxe" trims for the Nine (1933), Moonhawk (1973), LeGran (1984), and Bastion (2016). And all the models except the Nine have "Sport" trims, with the LeGran (1984), Wendover (1987), and Lansdale (1996) all having "Sport S" or "Sport SE" variants.

And yet, despite the SBR4 and Sunburst being less than five years apart (as of right now), they don't share the "RS" badge. I think that it'd be a nice bit of continuity between the two models to have the TT S2 be rebadged as the "TT RS". I would say that this might bring up some issues with Audi and their recently-departed TT. However, Bugatti's used the "Bolide" badge recently, and quite a few manufacturers use "RS" (like Ford or Chevrolet), so I think it'd be fine as long as the model itself isn't called "TT".

Well they are European cars so no surprise here, the SBR4 RWD Base Manual (2.5L NA 203 hp) being a Japanese car costing $48.5K USD is ABSURD though even with your "horsepower isn't everything" argument. Its closest competition being the Subaru BRZ with similar if not more power costs only $32K USD for 2024 models (2021-on has 230 hp) with 2013-2018 models costing LESS than $30K.

Also tried with the RWD SBR4 Base manual, only goes like 240 km/h or 150 mph, not quite worth its price imo.

Agreed with your badging consistency however.

I don't think exact consistency is really needed, Subaru Sells a WRX and a BRZ, two names which sound vaguely similar, but have no logical connection between their ex-recto nomenclature of "World Rally eXperimental" and "Boxer Rear-drive Zenith".
Perhaps "RS" is intended to mean "Rally Sport" and TT supposedly originated as "Turbo Touring" or some such thing. Two different names for two different marketing intentions.

Regardless, we'll have to wait until 0.35 releases, it's possible the Sunburst might get a "Sport RS2" akin to the S206 WRX, to tie the naming of the two models together.

60K USD for a 200 hp base RWD model manual?! NO. More like 40K tops (yes I do account that for a bespoke chassis).

40K for a new Miata, which is 180 HP RWD manual, with a chassis that's been pretty much unchanged for the past 30 years
60K for a new SBR4 that's 200 HP RWD manual, a completely unique chassis and engine from what Hirochi has ever done before, so I don't see why not

New Miata is 2024 which is post global (hyper)inflation (inflation begins at 2020), SBR is produced between 2013 to 2020. If you bring up the Miata thing, at least try to restrain it with a similar time period (which I credit @DriftinCovet1987 for) such as 2019 which the Miata starts at $25K USD. With the unique chassis scaling, base RWD manual should cost about 50-60% more TOPS (which is $37.5K to $40K).

Fair enough - I'm not that bothered about it, to be honest. It's just something that I thought would be neat. I was thinking of something more extreme, with the SBR4's trims being renamed to "2.5" -> "2.0 Sport" -> "2.5 Sport S" -> "2.5 Sport RS", but that wouldn't really work.

But yes, a Sport RS2 Sunburst would be very cool. I think that's probably a more appropriate way to link the two, to be honest. I wouldn't mind seeing a "TT RS2" version for the SBR4, either - something akin to the Porsche 911 GT3s/GT2s or the Nissan GT-R Nismo. That could really be the "TTSport" or "GTZ" equivalents for Hirochi.

In this matter, the "4" in SBR4 originally standed for "4-wheel-drive", but then was changed for "4 passengers". However, the electric variant is just called "eSBR", without 4. So it could also be "4-cylinder".
