    I just noticed that carbureted cars don't waste any fuel while not accelerating when driving, I think the devs should fix this, we need more details in this game.

    Texture clipping on west coast USA race track on lowest settings

    Tested on:

    Code:
    Operating system . Windows 10
    Game version: Alpha 0.34.2
    Graphics Setting: Preset: Lowest
    
    Found behavior:
    When having the 'lowest' graphic preset selected the road texture on 'West coast USA' racetrack is clipping.
    Bug only seems to occur on the lowest graphics preset.
    I only found clipping like this at the race track of this map and the Hirochi Raceway.
    If i find such clipping on other tracks i will attach that in a comment.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Set the graphics settings on the 'lowest' preset
    2. Spawn to the map 'West coast usa'
    3. Go to the race track
    4. Bug occurs all across the track ❌

    I found that in the rout preview for time trials and missions on the Hirochi raceway map there are weird spikes in the lines. See example below.

    it could be your ram. you have a little warning saying to close apps so it could be a ram issue, a vram issue, specific gpu issue or its for everyone. will check soon

    I don't know what it's connected to, but when I play with the steering wheel connected, the traffic on the road just starts to stop in a random place and after a couple of seconds starts moving again, when playing with a gamepad this problem does not exist

    I have the same thing. I play with the steering wheel and sometimes traffic thinks I'm driving a police car. When I get close to them, they stop. When I get close, they start moving and then the same thing. Usually resetting the car solves the problem.

    I have already written about this issue many times. hopefully this will be fixed in the future. The fact is that the image in the left and right mirrors of almost all cars except ibishu bx, gavril t series, gavril md series, bruckell nine is very different. Using the example of ETK K series and ibishu bx, I will show the difference. There is a noticeable difference in the ETK K as in other cars. In the left mirror, the objects appear close and are very clearly visible in the distance. There is an ibishu bx behind my car and it is quite clearly visible at a great distance from it, also when the car is very close to the rear, it seems that it is very close. Just as it should be, the left mirror has a dead zone. And now about the right mirror. In it, a car standing at a great distance can be clearly seen. When the car is standing close behind, it seems that it is far away, but in the left mirror it seems that it is very close. When a car is approaching from a distance, it becomes visible in the right mirror only when it is very close. Also, when rebuilding, it seems that the car is far away, although it is actually close.The right mirror also lacks the dead zone. The car is visible even when my car is slightly behind it. Another problem concerns ETK k, bruckell bastion, etk I, ibishu pessima mk1. Their image in the mirror is heavily distorted, and the bastion and 800 series have a small and flattened car body, unlike the left mirror. Next, I took a screenshot from ibishu bx in which everything is fine with the mirrors and the difference is clearly visible on his example. I know that this is related to mirror_cx and mirror_ce, where one mirror is convex and the other is flat. You can simply apply mirror_ce (flat mirror) to all cars. I hope in. (all cars were at the same distance in the screenshots)

    here is another example
    the settings are almost at their maximum. The problem here is that the material used for the left mirror is mirror_cx, which makes it more flat, and the right mirror_ce is convex. I know that on American cars the left mirror is flat and the right is convex, but firstly, not all cars in the game are American, and secondly, the right mirror is not as bad as in the game, where you can't see a car that is about 15 meters behind you
    and the right mirror can't move objects away as much as in the game. Moreover, the Ibishu BX has the same image in the mirrors, which means it can be applied to other cars. maybe it's not so noticeable in the screenshots, but it's very noticeable in the game, especially the difference in the left and right mirrors of the bruckell Bastion in the right mirror, the reflection of the car body is smaller and stretched, but everything is fine in the left. The ETK 800, ETK I, and ibishu pessima MK1 also don't have the best image in the right mirror.

    mirror_ce and mirror_f are the actual flat mirrors as they have their normal (which is just a sphere run through a normal map creator) set to .35 and .25 respectively. mirror_cx has its normal set to 1.15 which is a bit stronger than the actual normal map

    Hi not sure if this has been reported already but I wanted to use the GLTF Exporter to import a crashed version of a
    into Roblox Studio but the shading looks inverted; this wasn't an issue in a previous version.

    This is a picture of an exported Bolide that I exported in while the game was running in Safe Mode.
    The model's shading looks inverted and Inverting Negative Faces does nothing to it to fix it actually shows the model all blue if you turn on "Face Orientation" which means its the faces are not inverted so yeah.

    So, has anyone else been able to get this challenge done in under two minutes? I feel like the time limits are far too restrictive. I was able to complete it in under three minutes, so I feel like 2:30 or 2:40 could be the three-star time, then 3:00 or 3:20, then 3:30 or 4:00.

    I was able to get just the logs to the research center in under two minutes, but the game didn't let me deliver just the logs - is this intentional? I'm running with 0 mods active on 0.34.2.

    EDIT: So, twice now, I've been able to complete this challenge with 0 recoveries, just like the challenge wanted me to - but both times, I got 0 stars. upload_2025-3-28_10-15-28.png

    EDIT 2: This mission's description says that I can take the road or go cross-country to get to an abandoned structure, then go up to the top of the mountain. That's an interesting challenge idea, in my opinion... upload_2025-3-28_10-20-33.png

    ...if it weren't wrong on both counts. The first checkpoint is at the top of the mountain - so, I can't take the roads, and I have to go back down to the abandoned structure, and not up to the mountain. I don't know if the description or the mission setup is the intended way of going through this.

    What's bizarre is that all three of these challenges are on the same map as what I believe is one of the best-designed challenges in the game. It's difficult, yes (I had to restart multiple times), but it's totally possible to get all three stars even if you're not a top-tier speedrunner, the bonus star requirement makes sense, and it makes use of a nice little area of the map.

    IMO, whoever makes these time trials should be required to show a video of them doing the trial if enough people can't do it

    Found another bugged scenario (for me, at least): Delivery Destruction. The T-Series doesn't move, and I insta-win the challenge with 0 stars.

    This is also the case with pretty much all of the crawl scenarios in JV - they don't give anything more than one star. Hard Rocker doesn't give me any stars at all, even if I don't use any recoveries:

    Some hotfix must have broken all those scenarios, we make sure to test all of them before every update to confirm that they work and are possible, and they were all approved last update

    Right, that makes sense. I'm on 0.34.2 - perhaps they worked in 0.34.0.

    Also, this isn't a bug report per se, but wow, is Hotrod Club tough. That scenario took me over an hour of multiple failed attempts to get first place - which I got mostly through pure luck with the AI crashing out.

    And I also finally beat Crankshaft Pass after more than two years with all three stars, woooooo!

    So, I was playing through the Italy scenarios, when I came across this particularly baffling one: TastiCola Restock. For the most part, it's solid. It works great, it's a fun-enough challenge without being overbearingly difficult, and it shows off a good part of the map. All markers of a good scenario.

    No, my main issue with this challenge is that it's practically impossible to get two stars on it. I'm aware, I'm not the best driver of the T-Series, but I think even the fastest drivers in the game could probably knock a minute or so off my times at most, not four-and-a-half minutes. By the three-minute mark, I was just about to enter the tunnels west of Norte - far away from Citta Vecchia. I think adjusting the "complete the delivery within" margin to around the 7:00-8:00 area would work very nicely. I'm not quite sure how long this has been an issue, and to be fair, it's not a very large one.

    Another T-Series cargo-hauling scenario, Abseiling Fuel, has a far-more lenient time limit for three stars - I was able to beat the three-star time by almost two minutes on my first attempt. This could definitely be tightened up a bit, to around 6:30 or so, but I'm fine if the time limits are left as-is. What's important to me is that it is possible to get all the stars.

    I think this is where we report bugs so i noticed that if you put something heavy in the rear of the etk800 wagon with no seats it can cause the car to glitch out/become unstable. happens in safe mode too.
