Could be that too, but the RWD 1er was only topping on the M135i/later M140i, which is the Bc6tt 340/Bc6ttx 340 equivalent - there was no true M car with the 1er, excluding the 1M which was a 2-door Coupe and not a Hatchback! But why not? The 800 chassis is already there for some dimensional adjustment, as are the various Modern ETK parts (drivetrains, exhausts, wheels, tires, suspensions, brakes, seats, steering wheels, gauges, drive modes, the lot - even the 4.4 V8 could be available in the parts selector, for some crazy RWD V8 Hatchback builds)!
Many of us would love to see a vehicle carrier trailer along with an accompanying vehicle carrier upfit part for the T-Series, so I'm surprised you didn't mention it! If anything, this is a car game, innit? As for prepped drag strips, we now have 3. The all new Hirochi Dragway, the Belasco Motorsports Park dragstrip and the GridmapV2 dragstrip. I know the GridmapV2 doesn't look like it could even remotely be a realistic map but strictly on numbers alone, three is the actual number! For some reason, the runway of the airport on the Italy map no longer features the 1-mile drag race and that's a great shame. Plus, the Automation Test Track features the Kurupae Aero Club, which has a runway at ~900m of length, so it can be good for 1/4mile drag races! As for the ECUSA, I'm not really into makeshift drag races in weird places (#rhymez4daze), so I'm gonna let your imagination do the work. But still, I'd love to see a weird place for dragging, just like the runway of the Jungle Rock Island map is the only such weird place right now! All in all, we've got 6 places for drag racing! - 3 prepped 1/4mile drag strips (Hirochi Dragway, Belasco Motorsports Park and GridmapV2). - 2 that absolutely could be turned into drag strips (the abandoned runway in the Jungle Rock Island map and the ~900m Kurupae Aero Club runway in the Automation Test Track map). - And 1 which absolutely needs to return (the Italy airport runway, with its 1-mile drag race, plus it could easily feature 1/2mile and 1/4mile drag races too)! And the number could go up to 7 with any drag strip form the ECUSA decides to come up with!
I wasn't counting grid map since that's not an area we would see in career mode. As far as my idea for ECUSA... It wouldn't be a "makeshift" space, just a different type of track than the two modern tracks we have. Again I'll use Brown County dragway as an example (which I only now realize already has a mod). That is a "proper" track with sanctioned races, but it's from a different era and provides a completely different type of drag racing than the modern strip at Belasco and Hirochi. Imagine the historic raceway at Hircochi and Automation, only one that actively hosts events still. The entire track is about as wide as a single NHRA spec lane and the grass median and trees lining the track make it incredibly dangerous before you consider how loose the track is on a good day. The shut down area is around the minimum safe length (2x the length of the actual race lane). The northwest corner of the ECUSA map is already fairly flat for a good length. I don't know what's required to build outside the map limits but looking at what the team was able to do in WCUSA for spearleaf and Hot Rolled Inc I would imagine they could squeeze in something like this. Article on the racing at Brown County: https://www.e3xtreme.net/2020-editorial/2023/9/26/no-prep-racingwhat-the-hell-have-i-been-missing 1320video has several YouTube videos covering the racing at this track. I really recommend taking a look at their coverage to see just how sketchy these old local tracks can be compared to the pristine modern strips we have in game And a photo of the track:
Speaking of trailers, I'd love to see a Randolph branded 53ft Race Car Trailer with a hydraulic loading ramp and 2 level interior. This may be off topic and overspecific, but I'm curious as to what could be possible for more racing/motorsport oriented content.
On the topic of the caravan, I'm suprised we don't have a gooseneck option by now or even an rv based off of the md series(some rv companies did use medium duty chassis). Furthermore it would be neat to see a bed option for the d series that has a truck camper(see example)
Not sure if he's serious but the wheelbase does not, infact line up with the sunburst. Many people, me included simply believed it was a sunburst wagon but maybe it is something else. But that leaves the question; what would the something else be?
My first session of BeamMP with my friends, I used the Wydra 8x8 Rescue and was driving around JRI. I got swept away by the river near the airport, which had my friends rolling with laughter. Huh? Why would they reference the door cards, then? Why would Hirochi Raceway be getting some significant work? The teaser from last week looks far too much like the Sunburst for it to be anything else, IMO. What else would have a flat-four engine mounted in the front? That all just screams "Sunburst remaster" to me. I think this is just some tomfoolery from Stenyak. The wheelbase for the Sunburst could've been adjusted in this rework. EDIT: James just dropped this image in the Career thread. The most important things here are that the SBR will be getting a rally variant (which it currently doesn't have), so, that definitely shows there'll be at least some work done on it. There are also four trims that are blurred out - judging by where they land, those are probably the Sunburst trims (since that model is not mentioned anywhere else in the list). While not every vehicle appears on this list (the '96 Pessima, Wentward, LeGran, Piccolina, Rockbasher, Bolide, Burnside, Barstow, Pigeon, and Wigeon don't appear at all), there's a very solid list of vehicles here. EDIT 2: The SBR rally config is a custom one.
I think thats just related to the meme that took over the subreddit recently. (comparing the wheelbase and the title "For those still in doubt")
There's also another image from him where the text is less blurred and you can actually try to guess what's there. I think there's "touge" in the first, second and fourth title, "TV3" in the third one, but the long part doesn't look like "sunburst" to me in any of them which is odd.
Hmmm...maybe the Sunburst is getting a new platform name? That has happened before (the BX used to be "coupe", the Bolide "super", the Covet "hatch", and the T-Series "semi", among others). Although, in the cases of the previous renames, those were done to make things less confusing - "TV3" would just be more confusing. The only "vehicles" with "T" at the start of their filenames are all props. The Aurata's still called "UTV", so, it can't be that, either. Maybe they're mods or misspellings of trim names or custom configs.
Judging by the short (trim, gearbox) coming before the long (model name) on those blurred strings, I believe they've been mirrored. In other words, that specific benchmark seems to belong to a CVT Sunburst.
I hadn't considered that, but yes, that would make a lot of sense. I might even be able to figure out which trims they are, based upon their names and where they are on the leaderboard. From left to right, my guesses are: -Sport RS -Sport S -Base (CVT) -Base (M) My reasoning for the first two is mostly from their positions - the Sport S has similar performance to the 844 250, while the Sport RS has similar performance to the 856 300 and Kc6 360.
Why did you do this! This is such an uncreative unlore, which is lileratly unpayableâ„¢ and my day is ruined. /half-joke
Tuesday is here! I don't think the update would come this week (a tad early perhaps) but I have high hopes for next week. Two more teasers probably till release?
