Update Speculation thread

At this point, devs can do the best feature with audio pace note :

The possibility to add any voice without replace any file.

Imagine, we just create a folder, put all audio file needed, may be an information file and through the UI we can change the voice between stage.

And by doing so, we can ask anybody to save their voice ...

actually, I don't think miramar will get a remaster in 0.35 maybe they'll just add new parts and a new setting that has to do with rally, I think they might add the safari rally version (the one that appeared in the showreel)

 

The only guy whose pacenotes I'll listen to is this one

Yeah, it wouldn't really make sense for them to show it rallying without a config in the works. Plus I think it was hinted at in the latest showreel. That does need a refresh at some point I feel. The textures are amazing, but it lacks customizability and configs, and could use another body style, or export versions.

I believe they won't remaster the Miramar in 0.35 but maybe they'll add new parts and a rally configuration like the one that appeared in the showreel, the Safari Rally, but who knows, maybe in 0.36 we'll see a remastering of the car?

Is it just me or the Miramar will get a turbocharged engine? Judging by the sound of the new teaser, it has that turbo "whistle".

 

Sounds more like a sequential / race gearbox whines !

 

I think that's just the straight-cut gearbox, although I wouldn't mind seeing the Miramar get a turbocharger or two as options (it'd highly likely only get a single turbo on its L4s). It's got one of the lowest maximum horsepower ratings of any vehicle in the game, at just 200 hp. The only vehicles with less horsepower (without nitrous) are the Pigeon/Wigeon (~150 hp), and Wydra (80 hp).

I would like Steelorse for the french-speaking version of the pace-notes.

 

But something nobody is talking about ... why there is no new mods on the repo today ? They are too busy working on something else ?

 

I wonder if the Miramar will get a LHD version?

 

probably not because it is only sold in jdm

 

I would at least expect Minor updates to the Miramar because the current drivetrain is quite miserable
