If by some chance you ever come back to this, would you consider retconning it as a ford Louisville style truck? maybe mixed the cab of the Louisville or a similar design with the topkick style hood of the current Durham

 

At the very least, that's something I'd like to see on the MD-Series: a tandem rear axle. IDK why the vanilla one doesn't have it yet.

 

It probably will in an update down the line. I've done some work to add tandem axles to it & it already has some code in place indicating that it could be included at some point.

 

If you don't want to wait, Javielucho's Mad Mod adds in a tandem axle for the MD series, but the only downside is, it doesn't have the rear mudflaps or taillights to add on. (I've also tried to add them on by editing the jbeam files, but it broke the truck completely). It could be selected for either frame/cab length as well.

 

Of course I want tandem axles for the MD but about the pictures I was mostly thinking of the cab (a more “big truck” tall cab rather than a pickup cab), like the ford Louisville. I thought of this cause both Louisville and Durham are cities and in lore it could be said that Gavril has a factory in Durham NC that built the trucks, just like Ford built Louisville trucks in Louisville KY

Are you going to come back and fix the bugs that have appeared in the latest game updates even if you have no plans to add new features? One major bug is that the box truck boxes other than the smallest one no longer have an option to add loads. Also, if you do want to do more major work on it (but still comparatively minor) I second the idea of changing the lore instead of the vehicle and rebranding it.

 

This mod has been mostly superseded by the MD-Series. IMO there's little point in doing major changes to it.

 

Since the MD series school bus is out, how would I add the Durham early facelift to the school bus chassis to make it a Chevy CV200 school bus?

 

The MD and Durham are two separate vehicles, you'd have to get the Mod Authors permission and knowledge of modding to add the Durham to the MD.

Given that the MD-Series is basically the Durham but more refined and versatile, I doubt this mod will get any major updates soon. Apart from fixes to game-breaking bugs, that is.

 

In other words: I am wrong.
