I feel like if the T-series doesn't have a thick enough smoke coming out of the exhaust, I would like to see them have a more thick and black smoke, it would make sense because they were manufactured in 1977- 1986, which was before the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) act in 2007, which was when filters were added, and engines weren't as fuel efficient and consumed more fuel back then, But yes they still have smoke come out the exhaust but it just feels underwhelming.
what are your thoughts on this?

Yeah, it would make perfect sense. I thought so as well the T-series is made too eco-friendly for a old timer truck, let the coal roll!

Until something more official pops up, i just stumbled across this mod by accident and it gave me a good reason to destory my valvetrain in the process. I tested it with the T-series, one at idle and one at trying to get up to speed. and It's much better than before. This afterfire mod works with the latest version of the game, you just have to play with the settings in the Tuning menu to achive coal roller on a car of choice so it seems. It's a pretty good alternative. Only downside is you can't really have this beauty part of existing scenarios with the T-series to roll coal there but it's something

The mod is nice, I've also used it, veru customizable but thicker smoke etc WILL generally like EAT your frames, the game is in beta as always, because it is a physics simulator and EVERY game has bugs, so does beamng, sometimes corrupt files from nowhere, unresponsive User Interface etc etc. I would also like more debris and parts etc but it does not work that way, the game IS buggy and is TRYING to be optimized, but the whole stuff is very hard for the developers to do and the community people will never stop asking for new stuff, the developers also want to add stuf but it is hard, not really related, just wanted to open these up, you mostly already know these. I found a mod that adds smoke, and my computer will normally go on ECUSA at 100-150 fps etc etc, but when I toggled the mod to add smoke a little more, my fps went down to 40-70's, this WILL also happen with particles and crash debris because well, the smoke is a particle too, and I used mods that add realistic amounts of particles etc, they really eat your fps knowing they are 2d images, MAYBE but MAYBE if the game comes out of beta (0.??.? to 1.??) which will take years on, knowing we came from 0.03 etc to 0.34 in 12 years, maybe if humans created and tuned an artificial intelligence to really help with stuff, the game will MOSTLY be as close to real life possible, but it will take maybe TERABYTES considering it is 50gb stock from steam. AND the minimum requirements will mostly be higher than today times considered nasa computers with like 2 5090s, it sure will be added, maybe every single detail in a car possible also very small particles if they optimize the game enough/ make hardware good and strong enough. I just dumped some ideas and knowledge to this test, short answer is they probably will add it in the future but it will require a good pc and doing it right now really eats performance.
