It was just a question I thought of today and thought I'd post it. Does anyone still have their PS2s? I always thought that the PS2 was the best of all the consoles being the 2nd ever console I had, the 1st being the PS1 (I'm 13 but treat me as if I am an adult because I get BS most the parts of my life and I don't want this forum to be on my list). And what was your favourite console, past or new? Hopefully this will not turn into a argument about Xbox vs PS3 and I really don't want that but it won't desend to that level... I don't know if this is strictly Computer Hardware but didn't really know what it would be otherwise...
Will never forget the visuals of the first MOH on my first gen 720P Samsung. Couldn't believe that eye candy (2002), was from my PS2. Sadly, it met it's fate at the hands of 3 sloppy and dis-respectful nephews. She put up a valiant fight.
My ps2 has been through hell and back but still fights on like a trooper. I still have the original controller it came with too. It's currently hooked up to the TV in my living room. I don't ever use it, but it's there in case I want to.
Got mine hooked up to an old CRT on my desk, I occasionally use it, but it's mostly just there for show.
Literally what I was doing yesterday! I started a new save and have got an Evo 1 with 11K to play with. Great game that was.
Same here, been through all of my games (about 50 in all), my blatant disregard of it's mechanical components and scratches on all of the disks and still works like it was new! Got to give it to Sony, they sure knew how to make them last - - - Updated - - - Only ever had the slim one, it was bought of my cousin for £80 when it was 2 years old and almost never used. Then proceeded to work it shit less for the next 4 1/2 years before my PS3 started use. - - - Updated - - - I still have my old PSP 3000 somewhere, should really go on it and do something (don't know what however) and how did you get it to run Windows 3.1? Sounds like a bit of fun.
You uhh... may have an issue with that... I bought my original PS2 in 2002. It kinda got slow so I traded it for a Silver-Slim in like 2006 that I still play GTA:SA on to this day. It's the only version of the game that doesn't have the shitty patch from Rockstar.
Nope. Original PC retail DVD wasnt patched either. Only the steam and xbox 360 versions have been patched.
Sucks that you can't reverse it through Steam. They don't even have pressure sensitive buttons anymore.
I have the 1st (fat) gen PS2 w/ network adapter, 2 original controllers, 2 knockoff controllers + multi tap, Rock Band Drums, Guitar and Mic, the original black memory card + a red and blue one. I also have a PSP 3000 (cracked) with 4 and 8 GB Memory Cards and just purchased a 3rd charger and a new battery (with a little more power).
Got my PS2 slim a little after it came out, still have it. Somewhere I have midnight club 3 dub edition remix.... but the save file was corrupted so I lost everything
I still have my PS2, I just realized that its now well over a decade old, time flys. Any one remember the game Test Drive Eve of Destruction? That game was epic, sort of an open world demo derby game were you had a house in a little town and you could buy cars from the salvage yard customize them, street race or enter into a demo derby.
Colecovision master race. Also yes, we still have our old phat PS2. (And a Dance Dance Revolution dance mat.)
