New update has mucked things up 20/01/15

    Seems we've had a Steam update today but it seems to have buggered a few things up!

    For a start, in game objects like the Large Crusher don't work, even though I have tested that the same commands (turn signals) do work on normal cars.

    The Right hand side menu in the game become unresponsive after a couple of mins.

    There seems to be a new map called Port but when it's clicked on, im sent to the industrial zone with the small race track.

    Any ideas?

    Well, considering you opted into the experimental version you should be expecting that. :\

    Otherwise deleting the cache in documents/beamng.drive seems to fix some problems. The port map is going to be different, but they are built off the same base.

    ...and it appears this is a dev build of the experimental so even more buggier!? I applaud the devs for being eager to get something out and we'll just have
    to enjoy the ride. Steam did a major update yesterday that has some fairly major changes for new features on their end so no doubt that and a dev
    build update are going to cause issues.

    No game breaking issues on my end, I wiped the cache and the existing folder before downloading the new version. Get a crash loading DRI, and crash when resetting vehicle on Hiroshi Speedway. UI stops working when loading Drowsy's spinner. Vehicles load chrome but the paint system still works.

    East Coast is looking amazing and performing well, the part selector works, the normal map reflections look great, and my Corolla still works without any mods. I'm satisfied with that. Though, the Corolla can't knock down the streetlamp for shit lol

    And car normal are super sharp but when viewed close up appear to be mucked up?
    [Edit: Sorry nevermind they aren't mucked up actually it was just the door in the pigion the first time I seen it looked very broken now looks fine also of course the noise is normal for these texture - mesh maps]

    Plus everything but the pickup now defaults to a metal sheet silver colour?

    I have no problems here because this is expirmental and they probibly have to pump out a few mini bug fix updates before this build will get better like they always do. and even if that isn't the case.

    Also Sunburst has an interior and engine model now?

    I think this update is nice and i accept the buggy state of the game , could anybody appreciate the works of devs ?

    Nice update, i don't mind the bugs because, oh wel.. ..EXPERIMENTAL People who want to have a game with less bugs go with the alpha (or was it beta already?) version of the game. :p The devs are just pushing a nice update to show what they are working on, that's the experimental build for.

    is that not support?

    Plus those screenshots all toke effort with full-screen custom FOV screenshots in full 1080P showing everything in detail, even capturing the engine model and sunburst updates in full beauty :p

    oh and on a side note one odd bug I noticed when playing a game and getting odd fps [1/2 of usual fps] was caused by the BeamNG UI executable running in the background twice in the task manager [win7 64bit] despite me lacking any running instances of BeamNG.Drive. In turn sucking my PC's resources for no productivity.

    Use the new UI one, and for now use arrow keys and enter after you have clicked the part you want to change.

    Yeah all the cars are chrome by default in my game. Also I can't seem to change to color of the Sunburst with the "old" vehicle selector
