Lap Times Not Appearing on Clock/Time Trials Not Recording Properly

I've posted on this topic elsewhere, but I suppose I should also cover it here, since this forum is about debugging and troubleshooting.

Firstly, I've run into several new bugs (since 0.32) with the Time Trials:

1. My username has been deleted from all previous records with no explanation, although reinstalling the game restored it for in-game cars (but not for imported Automation cars).

2. New entries in the records don't include my username if the cars are imported from Automation (my username does appear to be recorded in the highscores.json file, but they don't display in-game).

3. When I do a time trial, only the final time is recorded on the clock. Although the checkpoint sound plays when I pass one, no time is recorded (as in the past). I doubt the developers wanted to remove this feature, as most racing games have it.

4. Also, the clock doesn't even acknowledge any laps after the first one. Every lap is Lap 1. This is definitely a bug, whatever the intentions of the developers.


My second problem (which also didn't exist before 0.32) has to do with the car tuning, and I've also posted about it elsewhere:

The "Camera Position" control under "Tuning" in the "Garage" is only inconsistently available. Sometimes, the heading "Camera Position" appears, but then there aren't any controls.

I originally thought this might be a defect in the Automation exporter (in line with the High Scores problem above), since a lot of the affected cars were from Automation, but this actually isn't true. Some of the Automation cars' camera controls work, while several cars from the original game (for example the Bruckell Moonhawk) don't have any camera controls at all.

This definitely looks like a bug, whatever it is. Is there a place to report it other than here? I've heard that BeamNG have a Discord, so I'll try to join it. I've already posted my questions on Steam.

 

Anyone have ideas? I have been dealing with the same thing for months and after uninstalling all mods, deep cleaning cache, full fresh uninstall and reinstall, no change. If I put in the hot lapping checkpoints myself with the ui app in free roam, it works just fine, but I'd like the leader board and the actual time trial mode to work again.

 

I don't use an antivirus and I haven't moved my folder. Though my folder does seem to be somewhere else than I have seen others talk about. I have seen people mention that the Beamng folder in appdata should be in locallow, but mine is in local and always has been to my knowledge.

After another full uninstall and delete of said Beamng folder, I am still facing this issue. I start a time trial, the checkpoints aren't counted, nor the full lap; but now when I pause the game, it records the 1-1 time at whatever lap time I pause the game at.

 

I have had the same issue for the last couple updates as well. I have tried deactivating mods and reinstalling but the timer is still bugged exactly how op described.
