A lot of great things in this update, but, as someone who enjoys making custom configs, I find the removal of the I4 engines and the 6 speed manual transmission a bit dissapointing. I get that its more realistic this way, but I'm not a fan of removing stuff from the game. More importantly, the whine that the new 2.5L F4 engine sound makes at higher rpm sounds pretty bad and doesn't seem intentional, so I hope it will be fixed. Also, maybe a sport intake? The SBR4 2.5L makes 250+hp N/A with just a stage 1 block, while the 2.5L Sunburst engine struggles to get to 230 with stage 2.
As soon as I opened the game after waiting for it to update, I got this error message. What's strange is that I'm on Windows 10.
In 0.34 you introduced smooth movement of gauge needles for all cars. In this update this seems to be reverted and gauge needles became jerky like before edit: the functionality is most likely still there, can you tell us where this variable can be changed so we can edit and fine tune the smoothness?
In light of the new consistency renaming pass, could we also see "(Sequential)" in all configs shortened to "(SQ)", like with the previous rally BX? It's always bugged me that it hasn't been abbreviated compared to the other transmission labels. Edit: Wait, was the 800-Series' Euro police bar always floating like this?
The lag when painting terrain that i had in 0.34 seems to be fixed in 0.35. The world editor also feels smoother, I sometimes had lag spikes, but in 0.35 its much smoother.
Im still wondering why in the vehicle configurator turbo/supercharger pressure is adjusted in PSI even though everything is set to metric, ive tried contacting devs about this but still not fixed. Its annoying as hell when tuning a car to try and translate psi to bar since im used to metric =(
Another thing: is it possible to add a static camera pitch modifier so that the vehicle is always slightly below the centre of the screen (a la the GT chase cam)?
I appreciate that searching for part names has finally been fixed, but I can't drag or click anywhere on the tuning menu in the garage. Is this a problem for anyone else, and/or does it have to do with my current garage UI app layout?
Where are these new engine starter/shutoff sounds? There aren't any new ones. (Sorry, I'm an audio nerd)
Not sure if this is intentional or not but the underside of the Sunburst doesn't look like it's supposed to be paintable Other than that and the clear taillights, I really do like the remaster of the Sunburst. Very close to what I was hoping for lol
I have this (first time trouble ever during numerous updates). I have Win10. The game doesn't start at all.
The controls bar (whatever you call it) has controls overlapping each other.. --- Post updated --- Also, in the tuning menu, when you select all for the values (ex Max RPM) and try to input another value, it does not work and instead maxes out the slider. You have to delete the current value entirely to input a new value (easier to see in video):
We just pushed a small hotfix — no changelog yet, but it should address a few issues, including mod incompatibilities.
