Edit: fixed it! Solution: https://www.beamng.com/threads/my-game-will-not-launch.103758/#post-1831008 Hi, i can't get the game to launch after updating, it shows this error -------- Userpath is invalid or unavailable. The launcher and the game are going to use a temporary folder. You need to go to 'Manage User Folder' and either 'Reset' or 'Choose' registry = 'F:\BeamNG\' -------- I think the game is supposed to open the launcher but nothing comes up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it made no difference. The last line makes me think the game is looking for a disk called F: however it seems my PC decided my SSD is now called E: . Could this be the issue? Any idea on how to fix this?
0xC0000139 - STATUS_ENTRYPOINT_NOT_FOUND I receive this error, yet I'm on Windows 10, which as far as I know is still a supported OS. ===== Normal game (both directX and Vulkan) and safe mode immediately crash with such error. Already cleaned cache, already created a new user path, already verified the game integrity, nothing worked. The log after the integrity verification spits out that I'm missing these components: Code: 745.98560|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| *** 33 dependencies missing 745.98561|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * vcruntime140_1.dll 745.98562|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-winrt-l1-1-0.dll 745.98562|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-shcore-scaling-l1-1-1.dll 745.98563|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-power-base-l1-1-0.dll 745.98564|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-winrt-string-l1-1-0.dll 745.98565|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-realtime-l1-1-1.dll 745.98566|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-handle-l1-1-0.dll 745.98567|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-power-setting-l1-1-0.dll 745.98568|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll 745.98569|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-1-0.dll 745.98570|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-string-l1-1-0.dll 745.98571|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-1-0.dll 745.98571|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-debug-l1-1-0.dll 745.98572|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-heap-l1-1-0.dll 745.98573|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-file-l1-2-0.dll 745.98574|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-errorhandling-l1-1-0.dll 745.98575|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-file-l1-1-0.dll 745.98576|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-processthreads-l1-1-0.dll 745.98577|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-processenvironment-l1-1-0.dll 745.98577|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-memory-l1-1-0.dll 745.98578|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-sysinfo-l1-1-0.dll 745.98579|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-rtlsupport-l1-1-0.dll 745.98580|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-processthreads-l1-1-1.dll 745.98581|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-profile-l1-1-0.dll 745.98582|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-interlocked-l1-1-0.dll 745.98583|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-heap-obsolete-l1-1-0.dll 745.98583|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-registry-l1-1-0.dll 745.98584|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-localization-l1-2-0.dll 745.98585|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-io-l1-1-0.dll 745.98586|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-kernel32-legacy-l1-1-0.dll 745.98587|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-string-obsolete-l1-1-0.dll 745.98588|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-threadpool-l1-2-0.dll 745.98589|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-sysinfo-l1-2-0.dll Yet it does not want to download them. Bananabench runs just fine, so the game core works.
99.99%good update nice addon for the sunburst wagon i already miss the old hillclimb wing and splitter but the "track attack" will have to do the wagon i notices the added glass frame is a different shade to the rest of the window frames, unless that is perspective i like all the rally things too i also like the fact the wentward has been slighly updated. one thing could you guys in the dev team open a official wentward thread as i think it is the only vehicle without one. other than that great job on the update and great modeling on the flat 4 motor and the sound of it
Bug report: When using the career mode parts menu while owning the Hirochi sunburst wagon you are able to click "remove" on the Unibody of the vehicle. Removing the unibody results in the vehicle still existing, but consisting of 0 parts. When you try to spawn the vehicle the game crashes. Fix for this would probably be to make the unibody not be removeable from the vehicle. This has not been tested with the sedan.
i think i found another bug, but the display on the sunbursts seems to be stuck (idk if it varies between gauges, but both are in metric) CVT gets stuck displaying S when it was shifted into S gear, manual one seems to be stuck on N
The only two things I would change are the UI wheel thing back to how it was before but looking the same, it just flows better and the new chase camera feels off, I just dont like the arcade feel of it
No idea if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but the radial menu seems to be loading incredibly slow compared to the old one. This seems to get worse the more cars you have spawned in.
0xC0000139 - STATUS_ENTRYPOINT_NOT_FOUND There are hotfix at Steam discussion: 1. Open your game folder (not user folder) 2. Navigate to folder "bin64" and find a file "d3dcompiler_47.dll" 3. Rename it to "d3dcompiler_47.dll.bak" 4. Launch the game
I just realized all cars have a race transmission sound, which was not like this in the previous version
Ngl they should've waited a bit before releasing this update, it seems they rushed it and now they need to do a big hotfix
Why Radial Menu at "E" button now? "Escape" was better thing. There was access to menu elements and radial menu at once! I assign to Shift+Escape for while.
