Love the update!! Could it be possible to add the stock and sport exhausts to the Stage 1 and 2 turbos of the new Sunburst? I'd love to get some power and anit-lag without a loud exhaust
Nice update! (I will try my best at putting this into words I'm not very good at it ) It may just be me and not being the greatest at navigating menus but, I cant seem to get the AI cars to drive in traffic. I can control the cars myself and drive them, but the AI system wont work. It has usually always worked for me. Also the new radial menu has some big delays switching between things (like up to 10 seconds of lag). But like I did say, it could just be me. No mods installed either. Other than that, great update!
I don't know if anyone else has this issue but, on the wagon police config, The police lights light up through the interior.
The description for the "Track" Covet says that it has a wing. However, the config and thumbnail do not have the wing.
Yea im also having that issue, good thing it's not a big issue and they will probs fix it. although it does drive me crazy
Also I think there should be an "Empty" selection for Drive Modes. Currently I need to have drive modes enabled for my race car if I want it also to have ABS. It's a little inconsistent with the other cars in the game.
Anyone else having trouble with the new Sunburst wheel textures? All the new ones are messed up for me, cleaning cache hasn't worked. Probably a mod conflict.
Great update, but there's one thing that im confused on. Pretty much all of the in game cars from the 90s and further back all have the halogen lighting system except the 2nd gen pessima which is weird since the 1st gen does have the new halogen lighting system, but not the one after it. Same thing with the H series and the hopper for some reason. It really isn't a big deal, but im curious why those cars dont have the new lighting system. Besides that the update is awesome
Nice! The old Sunburst was the last really old looking model, it's so much better now. A couple minor bugs: The CVT shifter is missing an S slot, so it works fine until shifting into S mode where it gets confused, at which point the stick is stuck in the D position regardless of what gear is selected. Also, when pressing the accelerator to initiate a downshift of the DCT transmission, the amount of lag between the gearchange and the throttle opening again is pretty wild. It's especially noticeable with the smaller engine.
Aaaaah my favorite car, the 200BX, sounds like a lawnmower now. Can we *please* get the old sound back? The resemblance is seriously uncanny:
VR support has regressed in this update. The skybox now doesn't display correctly in each eye and has weird glitches if you tilt you head. Pretty much the same issue seen in the first couple of VR updates before it was fixed. Now it's broken again. EDIT: Also, the shadows have the wrong depth and appear to be further away than the surface.
idk if it's just me, but the sunburst's FFB seems to be WAYYYYYY stronger than other cars like the D-series or the piccolina, causing massive oscillations at about 2 mph even with reduced FFB strength while parked (MOZA R3 is my wheelbase). Also, it seems like half the cars had the smooth gauges removed.
I agree that the estate looks too boxy and the tail lights look like aftermarket tuner lights. Not sure why they didn't round the rear off but eh
My only major fault so far with the new Sunburst is the DCT is VERY laggy when you are partial or low throttle and trying to up or downshift, whether automatically or in manual mode.
Livery instead of molding is beyond good and evil) The rear end is also a very controversial shape....
Love the update. All around improvments and changes. I did notice that the auto replay is not working on the drag race in West Coast.
Good job, devs! The new Sunburst is awesome By the way, if you read this, could you update the traffic light textures in a later hotfix? They look like they just came out of 0.16
Loving the new update - The red spotlight especially has me crazy as I'm a huge fan of vintage cop cars. One thing: The new speedometer module seems to be quite inaccurate! As you can see, 100 km/h indicated digitally. 62 mph on the dash so pretty accurate. Meanwhile the gauge indicates 55 mph or 90 km/h. And you can see here, 161 digital, 100ish mph, speedo indicates just a touch under 90. Hope this isn't nitpicky!
