That was the stated reason (see this post) but IMO there's room for both, and it's sad to see a great config that fit well in the roster be removed
Couple bugs I've noticed: Gauges and turn signals are no longer smooth across all cars Selecting something from the Fun Stuff menu sometimes causes the game to lag a second later, even though the FPS (both simulation and rendering) stays the same The barriers on this section of WCUSA aren't all aligned the same, and will destroy cars that rub into them: This sign on WCUSA doesn't look quite right: Ripping the fenders off the D-Series also removes part of the radiator support, making the back of the headlights transparent: I also ran the integrity check and it has the same game file and 9 dependencies missing: Code: 325.93722|I|bng::Launcher::verifyHash| === Differences === 325.93732|I|bng::Launcher::verifyHash| c:/program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/beamng.drive/none.json: missing 325.93736|I|bng::Launcher::verifyHash| === Differences statistics === 325.93736|I|bng::Launcher::verifyHash| missing : 1 files 325.95098|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| *** 9 dependencies missing 325.95099|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * vcruntime140_1.dll 325.95099|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-winrt-l1-1-0.dll 325.95100|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-shcore-scaling-l1-1-1.dll 325.95100|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-power-base-l1-1-0.dll 325.95101|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-winrt-string-l1-1-0.dll 325.95101|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-realtime-l1-1-1.dll 325.95102|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-handle-l1-1-0.dll 325.95102|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-power-setting-l1-1-0.dll 325.95103|E|bng::Launcher::findMissingDependencies| * api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll Yet strangely, C:\Windows\System32\vcruntime140_1.dll does exist on my machine.
While I don't know how it compares to the old hillclimb config in terms of total downforce, the new time attack aero looks great (void-black wing aside), and the seemingly functional diffuser - a first for vanilla Beam - is a step in the right direction. It's mainly due to those things that I see the new config as a net improvement.
The hirochi sunburt with DCT has a large delay when downshifting. This happens even at low speeds when the car shifts to a lower gear. The car stops responding to the gas for 2 seconds and only then starts driving. This is not the case in sport mode. Perhaps this is how it should be, but the delay is too long. --- Post updated --- Since version 0.34, when driving a police car, it was not possible to start a chase. Traffic cars respond to sirens and lights, but none of the cars give chase. The same thing happens on version 0.35. Maybe it's because I use the steering wheel. --- Post updated --- На италии автомобили трафика останавливаются перед припаркованными автомобилями и не могут продолжить движение.Эта проблема сохраняется уже давно. Надеюсь в 0.35.4.0 будет исправлено.
indicator stalks still have no animations with the halogen function. issue has been around since 0.34, hasnt been fixed and is literally unplayable
In the hirochi sunburst, when switching from low beam to high beam, the section responsible for the high beam stops flashing smoothly. When blinking the high beam without the low beam, everything is fine. I noticed the same thing about ibishu bx diana. Perhaps there are more cars with this problem.ore cars with this problem. --- Post updated --- In version 0.35, police chases do not work. I've met people on the forum who have the same problem and disabling mods has helped them, but nothing helps me. In the lua.traffic file, random events are set to true.
To be honest, it's a matter of time until someone makes it a config as a mod, some people did those for Covet ''Beater'' as an example
One minor issue: Bluetooth fog lights on the sunburst. Steps to reproduce: turn on the fog lights rip the bumper off through method of choice
With the new hotfix I get a fatal lua script error when trying to load West Coast. Already cleared cache, verified files through Steam, even did a full reinstall. Prior to the reinstall the map would load, but would crash my entire PC.
Noticed a few things with Career Mode: 1. previous vehicles are sold and money returned, even after saving (create new profile possibly fixes this) 2. Reinstalling purchased parts have been moved to the purchase menu 3. Reinstalling previously purchased parts now require you to repurchase them even when they are in your inventory at full price. 4. Selling parts in your inventory that you had to repurchase to install yelds you the "used" price (you are losing money) I like the new goals with racing cargo etc. It actually got me wanting to start racing more and build up a street/strip specific car. All in all I like the changes but currently the inventory changes are game breaking
I find the new BX Rally config INSANELY difficult to handle... It loses a lot of grip in the back when hitting throttle on asphalt and the automatic gearbox shifts way too early making the gears super short. I play on keyboard and mouse as steering, and still I find the bolide rally config easier to control than this
Reporting a new bug introduced by v0.35: In the World Editor <Asset manager>: When viewing assets in the Mesh Preview the meshes are fully zoomed in by default. Annoying when looking through multiple meshes as I have to zoom out (lots and lots of mouse scrolls + crtl). Please fix this BeamNG.
I also noticed that when I crash into police cars in a police car, they start chasing me, although this had not happened before. Maybe the game doesn't understand that I'm driving a police car and that's why the chase doesn't start. I've tried it on different police cars, but nothing happens. --- Post updated --- Some cars have a bug with their headlights. Cars with one section of headlights responsible for the low beam and high beam when the low beam is on, if you flash the high beam, the light begins to fade and only then flare up more. This may be true for older cars, but it happens for etki and ibis hua too. But with the low beam off, the high beam flashing looks good. Moreover, the gavril md series does not have such a thing. In low beam, the high beam flashing looks good and there is no fading of the light flash before the high beam is turned on --- Post updated --- Soliad lonsdale, ibishu bx diana, hirochi sunburst have a bug when flashing the high beam, in which the headlights lose their smooth flare. soliad lansdale has a brighter high beam texture superimposed on top of a darker low beam. In the hirochi sunburst and ibishu bx diana, where the low beam and high beam are separated, the section responsible for the high beam also stops flashing and goes out smoothly when the low beam is turned on. When the low beam is turned off, the headlights flare up and fade out normally. Unfortunately, I couldn't make a video. --- Post updated --- In the sunburst with a CVT, the gear selector gets stuck after switching to sport mode and does not work back.
