When I can buy a PS5 for the price of a GPU, it's not within my budget. Maybe an RX3070?

I've got an Omen 30L from 2020 that features the following:
    AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
    Nvidia/HP RTX 2060 6gb (Single fan)
    16gb Hyperx Fury ddr4 (Kingston)
    256 GB WD SSD
    1 TB WD HDD
    Micro ATX HP "Moria" Motherboard
    HP 500W PSU

Beamng runs differently depending on the map. My graphics are set to normal with a few changes. Some maps run better than others, but it usually runs between 60-100 fps depending on map and # of cars spawned in. But boy does it get hot in my room when my machine runs the game.

I'm curious, I see a ton of replies here with AMD CPUs; are those better for running BeamNG than Intel?

Newer Intel CPUs tend to be pretty defective and hot, while AMD is stable and keeps cool better

This couldn't be farther from the truth. You have any experience running new Arrow Lake CPU's in Beam? If you had any idea about the performance of them you wouldn't post completely false information.

Beam loves CPU cores, a 14900K outperforms a 7800X3D when you run multiple AI cars.

Arrow Lake outperforms Raptor lake when you run multiple AI cars.

    Example.

The LOWEST end Arrow lake CPU running 40 AI cars plus the player car

14900K Highest end Raptor Lake CPU running 40 AI cars plus the player car

So a 10 Core 10 thread CPU, is performing the same as a 24 Core 32 thread CPU. But intel is bad?

Oh what about the same map but with a 7800X3D

Worst performance out of the 3 systems, but AMD good, intel bad right?

And what about the defectiveness and objectively bad heat problems? What can you do about that? And anyways I never said Intel performs worse, I just said they tend to be less reliable. Sure, newer Intel CPUs are really good and you said they're better than even the best AMD chip, but that comes at the cost of needing a bigger cooler than you would with AMD, and there's also the chance of the CPU being straight up defective

    A bigger cooler?

My Ultra 225 goes a bit over 115w at maximum load, its currently on a simple 240mm AIO cooler.

    In a game

    Now how about a 7800X3d with a 240mm AIO

    Same game

And just to prove i'm not full of BS

Video Run of the 225 Intel system

Video Run of the 7800X3D system

So to recap you said intel hotter, needs bigger cooler than AMD,

And I have real world testing showing the Intel system runs cooler, takes less power and has BETTER performance than AMD.

    Anything else?

Don't listen to that guy at all. Intel CPU's espeically the Arrow Lake (Core Ultra series 2) are the best CPU's for Beam, its just a reality. I've spent a lot of time testing out lots of different combinations of hardware for Beam, and intel consistently is better, especially if you want to run lots of AI cars.

So my 14900K that has been running for well over a year is defective? No it's not its running completely fine.

Tell me which CPU's are defective from Arrow Lake?

Again this whole intel bad amd good argument is just a bunch of people licking windows without anything to back up their statements. I have hours upon hours of benchmark videos showing AMD and intel cpu's in this game. If you only play with 1 or 2 vehicles, any cpu will do, but if you want to deal with a bunch of AI traffic intel is the better choice.

I have Ryzen 9 9950X3D for test, and benchmark and beamng fps says 9950X3D is better so yea
and my 14900HX was defective and lol, every single cpu I bought from intel was defective,

    i9-14900K, i7-14700K, i9-13900K, and i9-14900HX
    --- Post updated ---
    EDIT:

in ultra 9 285k I got one more defective cpu
    --- Post updated ---
like bought 5 cpu and 4 is defective so I cannot trust intel

Prove your 9950X3D is better. I've made tons of videos. They all show the exact settings.

So I want you to make a video showing exactly this:

Because my 225F does better than the 7800X3D in the above test

10 cores 10 threads (no extra case) vs an 8 core 16 thread CPU, and the AMD cpu is slower

Also, Not sure why you are mentioning a 14900HX, as that's a laptop CPU, and I bet your laptop and desktop with the 9950X3D don't have the same GPU, so comparing them is useless.

look at it again I was saying there's ton of defective not saying "AMD IS BETTER"

also all have 4070 Ti SUPER so same
also I am amd guy not intel guy so..

285K now.........The BEST and FASTEST CPU for beam, it beats everything on the market currently.

spawn 200 cars....yup it can do that and not a complete slide show

Span 100 cars in west coast.....yup

80 cars and be almost above 60fps....yup

Nothing wrong with intel. They do make the best CPU's for beam.
