Why can't they fix the collision issues and put this in the base game, after all Beamng.Tech exists and that is suppose to be accurate.
100% in BeamNG.tech this feature is avaible, several times i try to talk at the devs to implement this, they actually put this only in the t-series remake and i was hoping that it will be on the 200BX remaster, but they didn’t do that.
One could make a hidden wheel that is not really a wheel, but in the same place as the wheel is, that when the wheel breaks, if it breaks, then that hidden part would move as the wheel would move being connected to the axle. It would work I am pretty sure.
That sounds very complex and unstable for something you could achieve by just setting the wheel nodes to selfcollision:true, there's no special nodes in beam anyways
So, its still in "work in progress"? Since only the fronts have it not the rears, or is that something from when it was still being worked on?
This already happens in the base game with the D-Series pre runner but its due to the tires on the offroad model having different collision boxes than normal tires
